An amazing find that we’d love to come back to! The house was wonderful and large enough for our group! We were able to cook group meals in the kitchen and spread throughout the house. The hot tub was lovely and I’m sad we were just a couple weeks early to appreciate the pool (which is why we’ll have to come back)! The park across the street was nice and overall our experience was exceptional!

Steve & Peggy's home in Matawa was neat, clean and uncluttered and easy to settle into. The three bedrooms are spacious, there's a larger central area open to the kitchen. Easy to park in the garage. A nice view of the river from the home. We didn't cook but the coffee pot was perfect! A short walk away is access to the Priest Rapids Recreation Area. There is a level trail along the river. We walked this both days we were there. Nice walk, birding opportunity and easy exercise. If you go north, the trail is paved. Going south the trail becomes gravel. Both directions are good. Communication was great, emails questions were answered promptly, and we had check in information a few days ahead. We left a pair of shoes, and Steve and Peggy have been great arranging a way for us to pick them up. Very kind and easily arranged. We would be happy to stay here again and recommend this listing. An incredible gem. My new go-to in Yakima. The view is amazing--the pictures don't do it justice. The space has all the mod-conveniences, yet is also rustic and with alot of character. The larger compound is full of flora and fauna (quail frolic outside the large picture windows) of which the Chris and Bonnie invite you to enjoy. The hot tub has the same sweeping view as the unit, and the pool area is nicely taken care of and is of resort caliber. Location is close to Yakima (less than 7-8 minutes to nearest large grocery store) but very much feels countryside. The amazing rock formation behind the compound (visible from the large private deck and from inside the unit) is amazing to see in the morning at sunrise--reminds me of the Redrocks ampitheater in Colorado. Chris and Bonnie--warm, inviting, fun, and engaged with their guests (if you want them to be)--you can tell they really like hosting people in their happy Yakima-adjacent universe.

This place was wonderful. it accommodated my 7 member family. great space for our pets. great space for my grandchildren. swimming basketball hoop. walks to the river. Boated 2 days. Great kitchen and pantry set up. lots of refrigerator space. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. star gazing at night. swims at night. Family dinners at your big dining table and room to eat out side. I will definitely rent again

We absolutely loved staying here. I almost would say the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s located in a beautiful canyon with lots of wildlife. Morning sunrises were spectacular and the house was very lovely. It’s a really special place and we will be back! Thanks Bebe!

This place is amazing!! Definitely want to stay here again!! Well stocked and organized. One of the bedrooms is only curtained off but the home is very spacious with a ton of comfortable sleeping pads it isn’t an issue. There is dog hair but it is a pet friendly home so it is to be expected. This home was everything we wanted and more! Can’t wait to book again!!

We Enjoyed our stay. The home was within 10 min of the place we were in town to visit. Sunnyside Geffin lake Pheasant upland site. Enjoyed the entire trip and the family members that didn't venture into the prairie enjoyed staying home and relaxing. Thank You for allowing us into your home. It was great, like house sitting for our Firefighter bud from out of town.

Debbie was friendly, courtious and within minutes to respond. The home was immaculate but did have lots of vintage decorations all around. The pots & pans in the kitchen could be replaced. Beds were all comfortable and cozy. Everything we needed was close by.

This place is awesome it was a big place for our family, we were all comfortable. Perfect spot for shopping and entertainment! I recommend this place.. Thank you!!

Debbie was a great communicator, helpful always, prompt to reply to our questions! While we are still pretty new to Airbnb we felt very comfortable with Debbie helping us along the way. The house is located in a very special place and super private. We would definitely stay again

The view was beyond spectacular. The winery and grounds are gorgeous and watched sunset and sunrise every morning. Stunning! Lots of room in the airbnb and very comfy. It could use some updating, particularly the bathrooms. Would definitely come back. Thank you for a small piece of heaven.
