Our group loves Windwood. Airbnb doesn't make clear whether this review is about the homestead house/lodge or the Pumphouse. WE love them both, but they are different spaces. IF this is for the Pumphouse, it is sweet, rustic and artistic, comfy, lovely outdoor shower. Have to walk to the bathroom area but good reports on it from our retreaters. We use the Pumphouse as an extension of the big house/lodge during our retreats. If this review is supposed to be for the Lodge, please look at our extensive review for the Pumphouse, which was described for the Lodge. Hope that isn't confusing! Pumphouse is for 2 - 3 people, the Lodge for 8 - ? and has a fantastic kitchen and 2 baths, sunken fireplace, enormous tree slab dining table.

The stay was incredible! My daughter and her fiancé loved staying there to escape the wedding crowd. It gave them a little romantic hideaway for the wedding weekend. They loved the hot tub too!

Perfect little getaway place! Easy to walk to town, you own parking spot, private entrance , very cozy. Would definitely stay again!

First time in Trout Lake and found the location perfect in that it was very private and quiet (undisturbed sleep + real darkness = well-rested guest) but only minutes from town. Shirley was very flexible with our shifting schedule. Will definitely recommend and return. Thanks!

Diane is a great host and responds quickly. The home is comfortable and has all the necessary features for a comfortable stay. There is a gem of a record collection to be enjoyed. It is secluded so there is an enjoyable drive through beautiful surroundings.

We wish to express our deepest gratitude for our respite at the yurt. Ann is an angel. The space has such a great feel. Comfortable. Had everything we needed to make our own meals. Shower was amazing! Gorgeous barn features. Enjoyed every moment de-stressing in the yurt, on the porch, the hammock, and observing the beautiful landscape and surroundings. Easy access to local nature spots and water activities. There was a huge storm that passed through during our stay. The yurt held up great. Quite nice to have some rain to cool things off and make everything shiny from a dirty dry summer. One thing, bring earplugs. At night the sound from highways and trains travels through the canyons and is amplified. Kept us awake the first night. Not a problem with earplugs. We look forward to coming back again some time. 🙏☺️

The place was amazing, the views are incredible and the place is surprisingly larger than we expected, and stocked with a lot of small things you wouldn't expect. The beer in the fridge was a nice little touch! The town is super close and everything you need is nearby. Great little coffee shops, a couple small restaurants and bars. Zaida was an amazing host - checked in regularly, was very responsive, and kind. Would totally stay there again and highly recommend to anyone else in the area.

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway, this is the spot! Looking out at the views was spectacular and it was so relaxing to sit and unplug for the weekend. Super comfortable bed upstairs. The hosts were so kind. It was lovely to watch the goats, horses, and chickens. There were lots of good restaurants around between North Bend and Snoqualmie. Highly enjoyed our stay and will be coming back!!

what a delightfully place! It really is as spacious and cute as the pictures imply! Cozy little reading nook with its own retro light, very nice and bright, and good considerate basics like little nightstand on each side that each have plugs for even short phone cords. Full stove, oven, and microwave are quite a treat for the price! I would come again. We had a super minor issue upon arrival that Kenzie responded to and helped us solve right away, then smooth sailing from there.

home away from home and great area

This is my second time staying. Love the setting. Place is quiet and comfortable. And I enjoyed an elk herd sighting a few of my days.

We had a girls weekend getaway with 2 guests and 2 large dogs and found the space to be perfect for what we needed! Ian made excellent hiking recommendations for us and the pups. I can’t think of a better place to explore and wander with dogs than through orchards. Truly unique and magical to walk around. We are already planning a time to get back and sip our coffee with that spectacular view! The guesthouse is cozy and offers just what you need. There is an easy drive to the town of Cashmere, Wenatchee, and Leavenworth. The drive in is through the orchards so be prepared for a well maintained but dirt road. If you plan to spend ample time indoors consider that it is a ladder to the loft and there is no TV. Although you could easily bring a small projector for the wall. We enjoyed borrowing the local puppy Miles as a playmate for our dogs and a hiking companion. He was an absolute sweetheart and an excellent source to help get the dog zoomies out.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tao's property. The property is clean and well maintained. The view from the property is magnificent. You can see Mt Hood and Hood River Town from the minute you wake up to sunset. A truly special experience!

We had a lovely stay! The movie hut was especially charming. The stay was cozy and we felt right at home ^_^! They provided a ton of amenities that were truly useful. The location of cottage is quiet and private and all the nature surrounding it is the best part! it truly feels like a get away >~<!!!

Really well decorated Airbnb. lots of places to sleep and very clean. there is a semi busy road nearby that sometime gets traffic noise, usually in the day, but it's a great deal. happy to have stayed there

The location was great and Megan was communicative and kind. The neighborhood was also very quiet and the bed very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This place and its host are a gem! You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Ultra clean and stocked, beautiful quiet surroundings and Katherine was amazing to work with. I can’t recommend this place enough!

My and wife spent the weekend here and it was amazing! Shiloh is so polite and great to talk with. The cottage was warm and inviting with everything you possibly needed to feel right at home. The beautiful scenery, the art studio, the outdoor fireplace and especially the clean and soothing hot tub which we used often during our stay. Its about 5 miles from town in a nice quiet neighborhood along the river which has a well marked short trail across the street. Everything was perfect for the entire stay and we will be back soon. Huge shout out to shiloh. Thank you for the wine and the gift card to the local coffee shop.

We had a great stay in this cozy Ellensburg “penthouse”! The place was spotless and very well-maintained. The one-bedroom setup with the additional loft made it perfect for a small group or family. It’s located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood—great for relaxing after a day of exploring. Check-in was smooth, and the host was friendly and responsive. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and quiet place to stay in Ellensburg!

This place was a gem! A brewery, breakfast, and a restaurant all in walking distance. We got to spend the day in the area before heading back to the Airbnb to soak in the hot tub while watching the snow creep down the mountain! Inside we were met with heated floors, 1.5 baths and a very comfortable bed. We don’t ski but if we did, it’s literally a stones throw away! It snowed while we were asleep but the roads were clear by checkout. We will be back for sure.
