We had a wonderful Christmas week at Flagpole Cottage. The hosts' home was clean, welcoming and extremely well-equipped. We had everything necessary for preparing family feasts, having a wood fire, plenty of bathrooms and comfortable beds. Robin and Francine even left a beautifully decorated real Christmas tree for us the enjoy (and put our presents under), a very thoughtful touch. We enjoyed the hot tub and trampoline (we were lucky with the weather, cold but not rainy) as well as the local walks to pubs. We bought our Christmas turkey (ordered in advance) at the fabulous Flower Farm shop, which is nearby and is a great source for all things edible. Robin and Francine's guide to local amenities and activities is thorough and quite useful. Robin was very attentive and open to queries but everything was so clearly laid out we didn't really have any questions. One last thing - the gardens are exceptional - even in December! I was in awe - especially the topiary. The old yew trees! xx

Carol Anne and Kelly were great hosts, kind and helpful. The apartment was very nice, equipped with everything we needed and very comfortable. The location is excellent, very close to the subway and buses, the neighborhood is great. We had a great time, thaks a lot.

Appartement extrêmement bien placé, dans une jolie rue calme à proximité de St Pancras, de restaurants (petit déjeuner top juste en bas de l’appartement) et de commerces (tesco express à 5 minutes). Très propre et fonctionnel. On pourrait peut être juste espérer un peu plus de vaisselles / couverts mais c’est le seul défaut. Merci à Debbie pour tous ses conseils

Great host and wonderful place to stay. Had a really relaxing time and loved the fire pit and wood-fired hot tub. Would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was clean, cosy and exactly as described. The location was perfect – quiet, yet close to everything we needed. Janet was a wonderful host: friendly, helpful and easy to reach. The bedrooms were comfortable, and we really enjoyed relaxing in the whirlpool after long days out. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Janet!

The White Cottage hosted by Sally was so beautiful. We had a lovely relaxing break. Felt at home straight away and could relax instantly. The garden and hot tub area was also beautiful. Cannot recommend enough and wish our stay was longer.

Delightful home filled with photos and art from his many travels. Great books. It was like staying at a (very neat and organized) friend’s house. The location worked well for us, although a little bit on the outskirts of the busy parts of London. Comfortable, clean, and relatively quiet with a lovely patio in the back.

We had a very lovely stay at the cottage. It was exactly what we wanted. The cottage is absolutely beautiful in a gorgeous setting. It was so peaceful and relaxing. There is so much wildlife around which was beautiful to see. There is plenty of room and the hot tub was amazing. Keith is an amazing host and nothing is too much trouble, he was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be recommending this place and would stay again.

Roomy, art-filled flat on a quiet, family-friendly street in Kensal Green. Great kitchen with quality pots and pans, super well stocked for cooking. Comfy upstairs kids’ room and three bathrooms (upstairs, hall, and en suite) made for an easy, relaxed stay. Clean, with a good shower and thoughtful touches. Great coffee table books and fun art throughout. Easy walk to markets, a sweet local library, playgrounds nearby, and the Kensal Green tube (7 mins). About a 20-min walk to Queen’s Park and a quick bus to Portobello/Notting Hill. Quentin was warm and helpful, met us on arrival, stocked basics like eggs, bread, and cereal, and shared great local tips including where to walk, eat, and how to get to Heathrow. He reached out during our stay. Flexible with luggage drop-off, though we didn’t need it. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Highly recommend!

This was booked a few weeks before we stayed and suited us to the ground. Bicester Village was the perfect place close by to get to Oxford by train. Easy to get to Blenheim Palace for their opening Christmas Weekend and Festival of illuminations. The Property had everything you could wish for, air Fryer, Washer, Dryer, Dishwasher, Fridge etc Christmas really did start early for as we were leaving with over an inch of snow on the Green and then 2 hours driving home in a Blizzard.

Jubed was a terrific host - extremely responsive and helpful (even when I managed to lock our passports in the safe on Easter, and couldn’t get them out!). The place was also perfect for our large family - clean, spacious, nice kitchen, outdoor area. We also loved the neighborhood, and since the Piccadilly line was just a five minute walk from the house, it was easy to get anywhere in London. Great place! Would stay there again.

It was a lovely stay at a beautiful cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for a little two day get away. We spent time on local walking footpaths and getting to know the local pubs. Our recommendations are; The Falcon, Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn and The Blinking Owl over the road. The owners of the Blinking Owl were lovely hosts, really traditional English pub and great food from Sylvia! We spent our New Years Eve there and it was a lovely evening. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Mary was super helpful and responsive on the run up to the stay. We hope to visit again soon.

Such a lovely home, we didn't want to leave! Hosts were excellent communicators and also very warm and kind people. Loved our walks along the canal and peaceful surroundings. We will be back!

We stayed at The Clockhouse whilst visiting Windsor Castle. We would not hesitate to stop there again. Beautiful place, very peaceful. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. Fantastic stay! Thank you, Sam x

Amanda and Ben couldn't have been more helpful, and the cottage was a lovely place to stay whilst visiting elderly family. The dogs were the icing on the cake for us!

Miranda's cottage is very well situated and set up for doing as we did - enjoying the local area, taking advantage of hot summer days by the pool, and walking in the woods with kids. Highly recommended for families of 4 or even more if you're prepared to really use the space. My kids were very happy sleeping in the twin beds, and we were able to use every inch of the place.

This flat is not your generic sterile property. It has a style of its own which immediately made me feel comfortable and at home. Most things are within walking distance in a regular London neighbourhood. And once you figure out the bus system (much easier than I expected) it’s very simple to access the rest of the City. Everything was clearly explained and covered in the instructions and stocking pantry items to start the visit was a great extra. Overall a great experience that was not your typical ABnB stay but a unique visit. I would definitely recommend and plan to return. This is a home, not a standard rental

Lovely place to stay with great facilities. Super host. Loved the small touches such as the access to children’s toys and wine on arrival. Fantastic views . We loved that we could watch the animals. The place felt very private and was in a great location to visit nearby towns. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The barn is beautiful and very well fitted out. Fabulous setting, absolutely stunning and super peaceful and quiet. The one bathroom was challenging at times with a party of adults but the rest of the barn is faultless and such a joy to stay in. The tennis court and other amenities were fabulous.

Emma was very welcoming as we arrived. She showed us around and gave us perfect advice on how to get into town. The cabin was perfect for a weekend away. We found a swing attached to the trees and had great fun. The bed was like a cloud and the kitchen had everything you need. Would recommend to family and would stay again.

We had a fabulous long stay in Susan’s house. The house was perfect, spacious and homely and in a great location near Clapham high st and Clapham common with lots of nice shops, parks and close to lots of public transport. Susan was very welcoming and responsive and went above and beyond to make us comfortable and help us during our stay.

Another lovely weekend break at The Barn. It's a perfect space for our group of friends to catch up and chill out. Always spotless and clean. We lucked out with the weather and the pool and tennis court got some good use. We had a lovely 6 mile walk around the Surrey Hills with the beautiful Abinger Hatch pub a half way point. Daniel was very welcoming and friendly and accessible to answer our queries. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and crockery but we forgot cling film and foil, so bring some if you think you will be using it. There is a lovely outdoor seating area and dining table which was a lovely afternoon sun trap. All in all a perfect stay and we will be coming again next year!

Great base for exploring London Fields and East London. Perfectly secluded but with great connections to the rest of the city via Liverpool Street. Parking was simple with great advice from Ali, the host. The home had everything you could need—would happily stay again.
