I had an absolutely wonderful three weeks in the Summer House. The living area was cosy with a great view, the kitchen had everything you could need and Sandra was always happy to help with anything, including recommending the most stunning walks for me to go on! To top it off, Tommy the cat is so cuddly too. Definitely thinking of coming back again soon. Thanks for a wonderful stay xx

A lovely place to stay, excellently situated for exploring Chester. The hosts were lovely and really went the extra mile.

The location was great, loads of excellent walks around in the hills which was exactly what we wanted!

We have stayed here for a bit over 3 weeks and I can say that yes the place is small, upstairs it’s a bit crowded and narrow and if you are tall you might struggle a bit, but the hosts are very open and honest about it and they even messaged us beforehand to explain and make sure we are still happy to proceed. So we knew what to expect in terms of the space, and let me tell you for the money and no extra fees I appreciated how well insulated the place is, the kitchen small but again well equipped we cooked quite a lot and we were able to find everything we needed. Very surprised for how well insulated the place is, we kept both radiators for a couple of hours before bed and then turned them off and the place was still warm in the morning. Also very privat and quiet. The internet was a bit slow at the beginning of our stay but Gabrielle was very proactive and she sorted out quickly so we had no isuues after that. Thanks

My best friend and I had the most perfect stay at Felicity's little house. The large gardens surrounding the property were beautiful and this was echoed within the home itself with fresh flowers and thoughtful touches throughout. To the rear is a private outdoor area home to some very friendly chickens which we loved watching as they wandered round. I could not recommend this home highly enough and we both would love to come back soon.

We loved our stay. Carol was really friendly and helpful and had provided us with provisions for our arrival. The property totally matched its description.

Catherine was extremely welcoming when we arrived. She showed us around and recommended where to visit. She was on hand if we needed anything. We loved meeting Blue the dog and the hens 😃 beautiful place close to Colwyn bay with lots to see and do.

Eine spontane Entscheidung die sich gelohnt hat! Eine wunderschöne Umgebung, ruhig und etwas abseits vom alltäglichen Trubel. Der Caravan ist liebevoll eingerichtet und definitiv eine der ungewöhnlichsten Unterkünfte in der wir je übernachtet haben. Es ist alles da was man braucht und ein Geschäft und Pub sind gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Herzliche Gastgeber, die uns freundlich aufgenommen haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The Bothy was the perfect place to stay for the wedding we attended at Colshaw Hall. Its location was super convenient, just a quick 5-minute drive away. The space itself was clean, relaxing, and so cosy, exactly what we needed after a long day of wedding celebrations. What really stood out was Rachel's incredible hospitality. She went above and beyond by offering us a lift to the wedding venue, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I highly recommend The Bothy for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay near Colshaw Hall!

Stayed at Ivy Lodge with my wife for 2 nights, met by Muriel when we arrived, showed us around and best places to eat etc, it's in a lovely setting and very private, park on drive so very safe. Every thing you need and well thought out comfortable beds. Lots to see in surrounding area and will be staying again when we have chance.

Everything about this accommodation was magical … from the food left for us, to the comfy beds and the magnificent view across the garden and yonder fields. The tranquility added a magical touch to my morning cuppa sat out on the patio … loved every moment there and highly recommend you book a visit, if you are reading this … you will not be disappointed.

What a wonderful stay! The house and grounds were amazing, it was so peaceful and we particularly enjoyed the views from the hot tub. A huge thank you to Maureen who provided all we needed and more for our stay and was on hand when required, we would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay! Nigel was super responsive and we had everything we needed for a little getaway with our dog. Cozy room, spotless, and with beautiful views all round. Perfect for a short rural escape!

We had a lovely stay in this amazing hidden in the woods lodge. Catherine was very helpful and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. The furnishings are lovely and the hot tub in the trees is just perfect! Area is fantastic for exploring- we did a great circular walk without needing to drive anywhere. Great wee trip!

100% would stay again, Jane was an amazing host and so welcoming and gave us plenty of recommendations for food and walks near by. Everything was spotless and couldn’t fault a thing. Jane even supplied us with milk and ice and all other basic items you would need which normally don’t come with stays like this. Also shower gel was supplied which was such a nice touch and made this stay stand out to the rest. Tobey was also so welcoming and made our mornings when he would come and say hello. Thank you for such a lovely weekend!

Die Unterkunft von David ist sehr gemütlich, hat alles was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt und ist sehr sauber. Wir haben uns von Anfang an wohl gefühlt. Sweet, homely little house, very private with easy parking. Clean and tidy. Warm and cozy in December. It was easy to book last minute and good value for money. Will book again when visiting family.

We enjoyed a couple of nights to visit friends in Chester and explore the local area. Adam’s place is lovely and quiet with only the birdsong and some good local pubs to enjoy. Recommend if you’re visiting the Knutsford area.

A lovely self-contained cottage with excellent facilities, impeccably clean, in the midst of an unspoiled landscape. The welcome package of a choice of drinks, bread, eggs, milk, coffee, fire wood and all the essential items made us feel very well cared for. Easy access to a range of local walks, and a very good pub/restaurant. The location is an excellent base for touring the coast and country of North West Wales. Would certainly want to return in the future.

A really comfortable detached accommodation in a very pleasant garden location. Quiet and very comfortable what more can you ask for.

This is a perfect place to relax in the beautiful area. It was our second stay and we both unfortunately arrived with bad colds after a visit with our granddaughters, but Sue and John’s place was perfect to relax and recuperate
