This two bed cottage is in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views. Walk through fields onto a footpath down to the picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. Please note - bathroom refurbishment completed March 2026. The Coach House will still offer one full family bathroom for guests to share (with sink, loo, shower-over-bath). The new en-suite ‘dressing room’ will contain a sink, toilet and vanity area but it no longer has a separate shower.

Beautiful olde worlde cottage with two good sized double bedrooms and practical living area. Low ceilings make it atmospheric but do watch your heads especially on the stairs! Perfect for business use, the cottage is just next to the bus route and close to M1 for a journey stopover. Ideal to stay in for events at Aston Hall, just down the road, or in Rotherham or Sheffield, with bus stops to both 2 min away. Shop very easy walking distance. Great for access to Crystal Peaks and Meadowhall too.

Kingfisher Cottage is attached to Bridge House, situated in the Peak District village of Bamford and benefits from a beautiful view of the River Derwent. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
