Beautiful rural, private setting in horse country. Just note that property is quite a distance from shopping/stores, and there is no TV or stove; not big problems though.

We absolutely loved our stay at Natalie's summer kitchen! Everything was exactly as described and then some. Between the easily accessible location to everywhere I wanted to go around the Lexington area, the beautiful surroundings of the peaceful farm, the farm animals, and the spacious and perfectly decorated two room house, we can't wait to return!

It’s hard to believe this place is real!! Coming from Boston to this beautiful, peaceful property was just what we needed. I think my favorite part was rocking in a rocking chair watching the horses graze and play. 10/10!!! We will definitely stay here again! ( also was very comfortable, had everything we needed and was very clean) Thanks for having us!

The place is very beautiful, cozy, and relaxing. The entrance to the hotel is stunning, and the views from the rooms are breathtaking. My family & I stayed in their beautiful farmhouse. We were there for my father’s funeral. The Cottage was PERFECT!! We were all able to stay there together. My nephew & wife brought their 4 month old & not only was there a high chair but a pack & play!! The farm animals were an added perk. It was so peaceful & we could all spread out. It made a sad occasion a little easier. We would DEFINITELY recommend this beautiful place while visiting Danville, Ky. Check in & out was seamless. Thank you for hosting us.

We wanted to try something different, so staying above a horse barn covered that for sure! Beautiful farm, very well maintained. The Loft had all the amenities you could need. The barn cats greeted us every morning on our way out for the day. It was great to see the horses grazing in the pastures. This is truly a quiet, serene place to stay. We drove to the surrounding areas for shopping, golf and dining. The roads are very hilly, but navigating around the area was easy. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is a great place to stay!

My wife and I loved it. Barbara was extremely proactive in communication and very courteous. The area is beautiful and peaceful, and the animals were very friendly. It added to the excellent experience. The room was extremely clean and well designed. My wife has already recommended it to her parents!

When I come to Kentucky this is the only place I want to stay. It is close to the Horse Park and everything else I needed to do. I love the way they decorated the home. It was comfortable and very cute.

Our stay was amazing. The Highland cows were adorable!! The house was surely clean and there were plenty of towels and linens for our party of 9 (4 adults and 5 kiddos). Everything is labeled and there were so many extras we could not have asked for more. They provided complimentary breakfast items, there were coffee supplies and oatmeal for the kids as well. It was truly an amazing place to stay for my daughter’s and my graduation from UK!! We would definitely stay here again 10/10!!!

The cottage was absolutely lovely! There was everything you could possibly need available. The location was so peaceful and perfect. The beds were so comfortable and the house itself was a wonderful oasis of comfort and calm. Sharon is a wonderful and thoughtful host. 😃 I 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Lexington.

I had friends in from out of town and needed a place for them to stay. James could not have been kinder and the cottage is beautifully appointed. Looks brand new and super cozy. Lots of windows that overlook a gorgeous horse farm. James let us go to the barn and we got to see three foals that were recently born! I will definitely book it in the future when I have out of town guests. The pictures are great, and it looks even better in person.

We loved our stay at the River House. The house was amazing with plenty of room, large kitchen with everything you would need stocked, and lots of choices for seating areas. The property was extremely private and peaceful. John was a wonderful host. He encouraged us to tour the farm and provided fresh eggs and honey.

This was our second time staying with DeeDee. We LOVE this beautiful home and amazing host couple!🥰 The home is a wonderful, historic property. I really appreciate that it is so private and peaceful, but it is still right in town. Versailles is such a charming town with a great Main Street. I hate to share how wonderful it all is because I want to keep it for myself!😁 We are already looking forward to the next stay. 😍

We LOVE this home! I was there on business and my tram and myself stay at this home and it was the perfect place to come back to after a busy day! The host was wondereful and helpful! We even say horses in the field across the way

What a wonderful experience! I thank DeeDee and Duncan for welcoming me and helping me learn about horse farm life and history of the area. The house and grounds were very beautiful and peaceful. The location is great because it's so easily accessible from central Versailles, yet feels so quiet and rural when on the farm. My bed and bedroom were very comfortable! It was so wonderful to meet and pet such beautiful and friendly horses! The experience has inspired me to want to visit more farms and spend more time with horses, as well as other pets and wildlife across the country.

If you love horses, then this is the place for you. Everything about this place was as advertised and we were very happy. The house is updated and comfortable. It is also very quiet - except for the horses occasionally neighing outside of our window. Anne was very responsive and gave us good instructions. The beds were comfortable and the towels were very fluffy. We look forward to coming back soon!

Perfect relaxing spot. They were super accommodating with changes to our dates and very responsive when we contacted them. We will definitely be back.
