Nestled in a small valley, this quaint cabin is a perfect mountain getaway. Built in 1890, by the Lakes family, it has a romantic, rustic and nostalgic feel. If you are a history buff, interested in Appalachian culture, or just want a charming, outdoorsy and secluded getaway, this cabin is for you. The Cabin on Panther Branch

Drive down Kentucky scenic highway 89 South just 9 miles south of McKee. The cabin is newly built and set back in a secluded area with a small creek running right beside the cabin and a larger creek just across the road. The Cabin on Panther Branch is a perfect place to come fish and kayak on the creek. Bring your ATV’s, side by side or dirt bikes and enjoy miles and miles of riding in S-Tree Tower in the Daniel Boone National Forest. We don’t think you will be disappointed with your stay.

If you enjoy off road ATV and UTV riding, we are located about 20 minutes from Wildcat Off Road Park. If hiking is your hobby, we are about a 1 hour drive to Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge.

Our cabin is in a fairly remote area with large parking to accommodate trailers and a full 50 amp RV hook up for additional charges. Relax in the two person hot tub, stroll the 1/4 mile hiking trail, or just enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio while seeing the wildlife.
