We rented Amanda's place for 2 nights in the winter and it surpassed our expectations! Amanda was a great communicator. The older cottage has been extensively renovated, it was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood stove and the heating system worked well. The kitchen is first-rate, and very well-equipped, it even had decent knives! We cook a lot and we very much enjoyed making meals there. We loved watching the ever-changing weather on the river from the picture window in the living room, and even saw a beautiful sunrise. The star of our stay was the sauna—we have a wood-burning sauna at home and at our cottage—and we were very impressed with its size, the modern design, the huge picture window and the style of stove. It got up to temperature even in -17 degree weather. We hiked and snowshoed in the Alexander Hope Smith Nature Reserve which was a walk from the cottage. The town of Washago was a 11 minute drive, with a great grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!

Brett was an awesome host. Was always super responsive and helpful. His cottage was such a relaxing time for my family and I. The backyard was very private and great for my dog to run around in. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and using the fire pit!

This place is wonderful. It was very well appointed. The lake is private and peaceful. There are large windows in the house overlooking looking the lake and a huge comfortable couch. The hottub is amazing bonus. The bedrooms were clean and well-designed. We will certainly be back!

The place is filled with love of Pirabakaran, we can feel the efforts on all the items and supplies he provides to make our living experience way much easier and nicer. The house and space are nice and comfortable, recommended for having a relaxing lakefront cottage/house getaway with the people you love. amenities are good: kayak, floating, fire pit, huge lakefront backyard, bbq grill, pool table, darts, big living and dining area

My family and I spent Christmas at Michelle’s lovely cottage and we had a great time! The cottage itself is very nice and cozy; in person, it looks even better than in pictures. It had everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub is a must as it has an amazing view of the lake; and we also enjoyed a little walk around with snowshoes available at the cottage. The host, Michelle, was very kind and responsive. She had the cottage decorated for Christmas, which was perfect for our gathering and created a very cozy atmosphere. We will definitely consider going back during summer as the place has many in-the-house amenities and private access to the lake. Thank you, Michelle, for hosting us!

We had a fantastic stay at Jen’s beautiful Airbnb in Calabogie! From the moment we booked, Jen was extremely communicative and proactive—she provided clear instructions and helpful tips that made our entire trip smooth and enjoyable. The home itself is stunning, with a huge backyard that opens up to a serene lake and breathtaking views. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The property is also incredibly pet-friendly, which was a huge plus for us. Our two Shiba Inus had the time of their lives running freely in the open space—watching them enjoy the outdoors so much made our stay even more special. This was truly a memorable experience for both us and our pups. We’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Jen’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful, pet-friendly escape surrounded by natural beauty.

James and Cathie’s place was exactly as described -it was clean, kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfortable, the hot tub was wonderfully relaxing and the view was stunning! We will for sure be back!

We spent 2 nights in this amazing place. We travelled with our 20 months old twin girls and a small puppy. It was a luxury stay! The check in is easy. The apartment is very cozy, comfortable, clean, well decorated and comes with everything needed, and even more! Kitchen is very well supplied, beds are super comfortable, and the location is great! Our host, Hunt, went above and beyond! We had welcome baskets in each room with little bits and pieces for our girls as well as the puppy. It was a nice touch and we felt very welcomed. We highly recommend this amazing place! Thank you very much for everything, Hunt!

Peaceful lakeside retreat! Wonderful place to relax and rest while watching the water and listening to the many different birds. We thoroughly enjoyed the rocking chairs down by the lake. We will definitely have some evening fires is we get the opportunity to come back. The apartment is maybe the cleanest we've experienced to date. I love that the bed sheets did not smell of highly perfumed fabric softener, as I am highly sensitive to that. Thank you, Doreen! We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with this lovely couple! And Noah was such a treat! You should book this place!

This is a fantastic place. Saskia and Maarten are very nice. They sent us very clear instructions and recommandations. They also responded quickly to our questions. Everything in the airbnb is thought for you to enjoy and make your life easy. They are very helpful. They also provided an extension for us to plug our electric car. The place is very well located, close to Wellington and the Sandbanks. It is beautiful, next to the lake with a great view. They have lots of space and provide paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with direct access to the lake. It is comfortable and clean. Thank you!

Simona and Daniel’s place was amazing. It was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. Daniel gave us a warm welcome in the front yard, and the music playing when we walked into the unit set such a relaxing atmosphere. Simona was super quick to respond and never left us hanging. If we’re ever back in Harcourt, we’d definitely stay here again. We had a great time.

My mom and her husband stayed in Christina’s beautiful home. They had nothing but great things to say! It was super clean, peaceful, and the view from the balcony is breath taking. She made multiple comments on how comfy the bed was too; one of her best sleeps in a long time. Christina is super quick to respond and such a great host. I have stayed in Christina’s place in the past and knew it would be perfect for my mom’s stay. Looking forward to booking here again in the future.

We had an excellent stay!! The location of the property made for an easy commute into town for shopping and dinner out. And the surrounding roads were great for sunset walks. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Thank you Susan for having us, your hospitality was top notch!!

What a great place. Stephen was fantastic and a great communicator. The place was lovely. Bright, comfortable and cozy. We felt at home right away. Loved the outdoor space, the view and the chairs right by the water. The ice had just gone out so we couldn't swim, but we all talked about how great it would be to swim off that dock and use all the water toys. We all agreed it was the perfect getaway. We also all agreed that Stephen has thought of everything - clear instructions, great notices, all the things you need in a kitchen etc. It is clear that he knows what he is doing!

We were very pleased with the cottage. It was very clean and spacious. Everything we needed was available and suited our needs perfectly. We loved the spacious kitchen and dining area. There is a lot of storage available if you are staying for any length of time. The perfect place to stay with a family. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

Alan & Rosalie’s cottage was everything we could have asked for and more ! It was a perfect place to just relax and recharge after a busy fall and Christmas season. We wanted for nothing, it had everything we needed. Alan met us when we arrived and explained where everything was and how it all worked. My wife and I and our two dogs had a wonderful experience. My family couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. As far as bang for your buck goes you can’t do better. Andrew and Hali were exceptional hosts, very responsive and helpful anytime we had questions. Everything was very clean, bedrooms and furniture throughout were very comfortable. My boys would absolutely love to come back, and we’d highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a seamless experience on a beautiful lake. Thank you for such a great experience!

We had the best summer before school starts , thanks to Henry’s cottage! There lots to do, campfire, kayak, boating etc. We love the jetty by the lake and we have coffee there every morning!!! The backyard is so spacious it has the playground that kids have plenty of stuff to do! The place is very quiet at night! We also love the bedrooms and it has no problems accomodating our family plus two more. We have a good experience here and Henry is very responsive on our concerns and questions! We will definitely come back !! Thanks!!!

Tom’s cottage was amazing and safe for young kiddos far enough from the private lake access that they can play in the front yard with-out life jackets on! Scenic views from the cabins large windows and quiet, close to other camps so if you don’t mind possibly having a neighbour it’s a great place, I’ll be honest our family is more of we enjoy being alone on getaways but we really enjoyed staying here! I haven’t yet double booked at the same place because we like to venture but would definitely take a trip back here for the peace and energy it gave me! Thanks again Tom !
