We loved our stay at this cabin! It was quiet, secluded, and gave us the chance to get away from it all, and simply relax. Everything was spotless, the amenities were as listed, and Alex was very responsive and proactive with his communication. The cabin was incredibly clean, well-maintained, and exactly what we were looking for—peaceful, quiet, and secluded. The hot tub was a perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking and exploring the area. Just a quick heads-up for future guests: the driveway is made of loose gravel and is quite steep. If the weather’s bad or you’re driving a non 4x4 vehicle, it could possibly be difficult to drive up. Also, if you're not planning to spend most of your time in Red River Gorge itself, be prepared to drive a decent distance for other activities. That said, if you're looking for a tranquil getaway surrounded by nature, this place is hard to beat. We enjoyed our time here a ton!

The cabin was VERY spacious, clean and easy to get to. It was close to all of the hiking spots and beautiful scenery, it was great for our kids. They had their own play area/section in the cabin. Communication was great with the host. We had a great time making s'mores in the camp fire (thank you to our host for providing firewood for us 😊). Fireside was a great little getaway! Quiet and clean space. We loved the local ammenities especially the coffee shop and red point bbq - highly recommend. The cabin has everything you need. My husband enjoyed the spa (I couldn’t as pregnant) and the fire pit! Thanks so much! :)

This was such a beautiful place! My boyfriend and I had a very relaxing visit. It rained the whole weekend we were there, but we still managed to squeeze in a bonfire and enjoyed outside any chance we got. Joe was very helpful in giving local recommendations. I highly recommend Miguel's pizza! We will definitely be back for another stay!

Perfect little getaway for the weekend. The dogs loved running on the property! I was impressed with how well-stocked the cabin was--SO many extras! Kevin and Erin responded to any question I had in less than 5 minutes -- very thoughtful hosts. I would definitely recommend and hope to return!

They were commutative and flexible, which we very much appreciated. The inside of the cabin is gorgeous and the hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking. We would happily stay again

Everything was great! The treck up to the cabin is a bit confusing for a city poke like me, so the directions to get there were a big help! The cabin and surroundings are beautiful and great for a get-away trip

If you want a weekend of self-care and relaxation, Sage & Cedar is the place to go! This place offered the most positive vibes for a relaxing weekend and the pictures did not do it justice. The amenities were amazing and even included a towel warmer which was a nice surprise especially after getting out of the hot tub on a cold night! Such a comfy atmosphere for a girls trip! We talked about coming back yearly to this Airbnb since we loved it so much 💜

The cabin was very clean and was an awesome stay overall. The host was also super responsive. The only issue we encountered was the lock on the front door was missing and the automatic lock function was broken. However, the host was very quick with responding back about this and seemed to be working on the problem.

We spent our first couple nights at Tristan's cozy cabin in the RRG. We got a few hikes in with the pup. We absolutely loved the area! It was a peaceful trip and will be returning again.

Kenny is one of the VERY BEST hosts I've had the pleasure of communicating with. He was extremely responsive + incredibly proactive. Lonesome Dove is the most spectacular place I've stayed in the RRG. The only real negative is being able to get there. Kenny gave us wonderfully detailed directions (we still got lost on a few turns) and to absolutely no fault of his, the roads are just treacherous. I have a newer AWD SUV and I made it but there were many times I truly thought I was going to get hung up (no cell service to call a tow truck) BUT I came out unscathed. A utility 4WD is my opinion, totally necessary. Once you arrive you are met by the darling cabin and the breathtaking views - a haven like none other. All -in-all this is a gem of a dwelling in every way!

We had a fantastic stay at this secluded cabin! It was cozy and comfortable, especially with the fireplace, and provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The location was great—just a 30-minute drive to everything the Gorge has to offer! We loved fishing at the pond during the day and ending each night by the fire. The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed, making our stay even more enjoyable. We’d definitely stay here again!

The place is very tucked away and clean. It's obvious the place is new, although I wasn't expecting a tiny home, it suited our needs perfectly. The location is great if you are interested in the outdoors and exploring the area. Highly ideal for any outgoing couple or family.

It was an amazing experience staying here. The place was really awesome even for people that are very tall myself standing at 6’10 and my girlfriend 6’2 we had plenty of room no complaints. Everything was provided you need to have a very enjoyable time at the cabin, very clear and simple instruction on what to do when leaving also. I will recommend this to anyone, it’s not the most private there another cabin about 20 feet away but very peaceful nice fire pit with firewood provided and fire starter provided and an amazing hot tub.

This beautiful warm cabin was so well thought out - the details were amazing. The kitchen was stocked, we cooked multiple meals for our family. The side patio was large and inviting. The bedrooms were large and comfy. We would come back for sure.

This place is extremely secluded and so peaceful! The view you have in the morning from the porch is beautiful.

Westwind Studio looked exactly as described and shown in the listing’s photos! We were looking for a private, quiet and beautiful weekend away from our hectic day to day routine and this cabin did not disappoint! Instructions for the use of all amenities were clear and straight to the point, everything was clean and extremely thought out…. Down to the lantern and incense sticks in the outhouse. The eco-friendly set up gave the place a whole new meaning and the outdoor shower is something everyone should experience. The hosts were extremely friendly, responsive, helpful and completely respectful of privacy. I’d rate them 10 stars if it was an option! I can’t wait to visit the area again soon!!

This cabin has been out go to since the original couple owned it. It's still the best cabin in the gorge even if it is under the umbrella of a larger rental company now. The price has increased which is disappointing but it's still worth it. It's one of the more private cabins in the area and is conveniently located. super clean and has everything you need readily available in the cabin.

Our family had a great stay! We enjoyed coming back to the cabin after hiking and sitting on the porch by the stream. We would happily be back!

Beautiful cabin, fairly secluded except for a few folks using the trails up to the 'playground'. The hike up to the cabin was tough, but worth it. 10/10 will stay again.

This is our second time staying at one of the host’s properties. The cabin is absolutely beautiful! It is so peaceful and perfect for a weekend getaway. The cabin is exactly as described. Perfect location close to our favorite restaurant- redpoint bbq. The waterfall is so peaceful and a great spot to sit by a fire and roast s’mores. We will be making this a yearly trip!

Great little cabin! It was just what my wife and I needed, great size for just us. Very clean and very comfortable bed. We did a lit of hiking and the cabin was great to come back to rest and eat for the next day. We like to fish, the river is hard to fish in but we did manage to catch one trout!( It has steep sandy banks) The campground a little farther down the road was nice to let us fish in their pond… there are several bass and bluegill there. We enjoyed walking the road every evening, all in all we had a great experience 😉
