This house is absolutely stunning! It’s spotless, beautifully designed, and located in a fantastic spot. The view is breathtaking, with a beautiful lake and a lovely interior. There’s plenty of space for big families, and the kitchen is equipped with all the essentials. The house is also incredibly clean, with no unpleasant odors. And the best part? here’s a hot tub that’s perfect for relaxing after a long day. Thank you so much!

We had an amazing & relaxing stay at The Cottage! We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and watching nature go by - even got to hear the cows from the nearby farm. The cottage itself was cozy and felt like home right away. Andy is a wonderful host, very responsive and friendly and answered any questions we had. We were provided with any bathroom amenities that we might have forgotten to pack (toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner) which was a very thoughtful touch. The cottage is close enough to the Dells to take advantage of the downtown activities, but far enough away to get away from the hustle and bustle at the end of the night. We hope to come back soon!

This was my second time staying here in five years. Everything was great and as advertised. For a remote cabin, it was everything we were expecting. Some areas needed dusting, but I'm 6'7", so I could easily see areas that probably go overlooked. There was a cool cave within walking distance of the house that was advertised in their welcome binder. It took a little bit to find, adding a map or GPS coordinates would have made the hunt easier. But it was a cool experience once we found the cave entrance.

All was great and as advertised and described in the listing. It was a one night stay and we ended up getting in much later than we hoped and had to leave early in the morning so didn’t get to check out much of the property but it made us want to come back when we have more time! Thank you!

What a great place to stay🤗I like rustic, clean, private and a peaceful environment..This place had every thing we needed.We could take our dogs which was a huge plus..I think they liked it better than our own cabin in the U.P..On a small lake which meant no motor boats..The loons were very entertaining..The price was very affordable..I definitely would stay here again..

Scott was friendly, responsive, and accommodating. It was a bit cold when we went so we didn’t swim at all. We did have a great time kayaking. House was very cozy. The kitchen has most of the basics but would recommend more seasonings (garlic powder, onion powder, etc) and possibly a bigger pot for boiling pasta. Chetek is a great city, some cool artisan shops/antique places, good bars. The folks in town were noticeably friendly. It’s a bit of a drive, but would strongly recommend the Enchanted Barn: amazing pizza, good drinks, good atmosphere, live music if you’re into that. Overall great visit, great host, great place, and great city.

Andy's mountain cabin is always a destination for us. In the times between our stays, it's a constant topic of conversation that's always related to fond memories. 10 out of 10 will continue to stay here. It was a very nice cabin for a winter romantic getaway. Or, frankly, anytime of year. The cabin is cozy, well insulated, and stocked with all your basic needs. Debra is just a email away if you need anything during your stay.

Absolutely a fantastic hidden gem in Hayward!

This cottage is so cute and comfortable. The location on the lake was perfect and it had everything the two of us could have wanted. Dan was quick to reply to every question we had. He and Kristen anticipated any traveler's needs and exceeded them. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely cottage with us!

This is our 4th time at the Blue Cabin and it is as wonderful each time we visit. Place is beautiful and feels like you are home away from home. Very comfortable. David and Laurie are outstanding hosts. So accommodating and making you so welcomed. Will be back many times to come.

I had amazing stay at the cabin atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous up to par 10 out of 10 would recommend and would be coming back again. I love that absolutely amazing. The houses were great. I wanted to extend my stay one more day and they were able to give it to me for a good price and I enjoy my time. Everything was great.

Steve and Jill's place is an absolute gem. What they offer is an authentic Northwoods experience. The lodge is a perfectly restored 1900s-era building with a magnificent bar overlooking Moccasin Lake. We stayed in the cabin, which was very private, comfy, and a perfect extension of the lodge. As for the lake, Moccasin Lake checks all the boxes. It is completely private, offers outstanding fishing, and, most importantly, provides complete serenity. Whether you are fishing, kayaking, or just sitting on the pier, the soundtrack will be provided by the call of the loons. On our final evening, while enjoying a campfire, the loons were joined by a fox calling for her kits, with great horned owls adding to the chorus. As hosts, Steve and Jill are among the best I've encountered at any Airbnb or VRBO. In a very short time, they will make you forget that you are guests and give you the sensation that you have been morphed into close friends or family who have been coming to the lake for years.

This is a lovely property that exceeded our expectations. It’s the kind of place you need to get away from it all and reconnect with nature. I’ve already recommended the cabin for getaways to my friends even though I want it to be my secret getaway. We will be back and for a longer stay!

Had a weekend retreat with my daughter, it was a great time for us to reconnect with no screens/TV. A time for lots of games and great conversation. We did a couple trail rides, which was a super fun addition to our journey. And my daughter really enjoyed some pool time as well.

This cabin is an absolute gem! We really enjoyed our time here. The cabin felt very private. The surrounding nature is beautiful and peaceful. We loved the walking trails throughout the property and spotting wildlife – we saw many deer, squirrels, turkeys, and heard lots of birds, including owls at night. The sauna and fireplace made the experience extra cozy. We enjoyed learning about the farm’s history and ongoing restoration work. Tighe was very communicative and kind. The town of New London is about a 15 minute drive away for groceries/food. We also enjoyed checking out Mosquito Hill Nature Center nearby. Overall, highly recommend for anyone needing a simple getaway in nature!

Great place for our ice fishing trip. Was super cold weather -30 and had some plumbing issues. Very quick to respond and solve the issue. Definitely would stay again.
