Rich and Meg were great hosts! The house was everything we needed and expected- would recommend!

This place is huge! Three floors of usable space and four large bedrooms plus an office space. It’s very quiet and peaceful with lots of natural light. It is a little far from town but that can be a plus if that’s what you are looking for. It was very family friendly. If you are traveling with someone who has mobility issues, there is a bathroom and bedroom on the main floor but no shower. There was a washer and dryer available for use. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the use of your property!

The home was comfortable and clean. The view was spectacular. We had every kind of weather (except snow) and even a faint viewing of the northern lights! Holly was so responsive and the instructions were super clear. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was also great. Would return!

Need a few updates, had to buy a new can opener ( left it in drawer), need foil in the kitchen ( bought some and left in kitchen) . need to really have a ceiling fan in large bedroom. Had a really warm humid day one day and it was very uncomfortable in the house. Contacted the host and nothing could be done at that time. Large bed sinks to the middle, garbage can down in basement for dryer lint. Very quiet neighborhood. Sofa is hard to get in and out of when you’re older with bad back and knees!

This historic house on the hill is charming, clean, well maintained, lovely views. The hosts are responsive and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay especially the great selection of books. Always a treat.

The house was exactly as pictured, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, and lots to do. They went above and beyond supplying face masks and earplugs for comfortable sleeping, extra toothbrushes in case you forgot them, and anything you could possibly need as far as seasonings for cooking, pots and pans, and kitchen supplies.

Had a great time staying at this AirBNB for my graduation! Beautiful home that made us feel right at home. Loved the sunroom, took lots of graduations photos in it! Wish it was available for our next stay in a month, we wanted to book again!

Beautiful home within walking distance of everything you could need or want. The house was large and spacious, and we loved the light fixtures. The dining table was perfect for games and art projects. We enjoyed the beauty and coziness of the indoor fireplace and also spent hours outback on the patio with the gas fire pit. Everyone slept great on the comfortable beds. Adam was an excellent communicator and responses were immediate. We will be back!

Thank you Corinna and Mike for an awesome stay at Red Pines! Because I had to stay in Onalaska for 1 month, I had the opportunity to stay in their lodging twice. Both stays were amazing! Not only were the units so clean and well managed, but the owners are extremely friendly and quick to communicate. During my stay, they even changed to electronic door locks which make it even more convenient for guests to enter and exit the home. Not to mention, Red Pines Restaurant was a great alternative to at home meals! They also have a new cafe right below the lodging so that is open right before work! There is plenty of parking and the lake is absolutely beautiful at sunset. Everything about my stay was amazing! Thank you!

We had a great stay at Jami’s home. It was perfect for four people to spend time together. Very clean, and had everything we needed. Jami was friendly and responsive! Very affordable as well.

Tammy made us feel right at home. The place was clean, quiet, and just what we were looking for. She was always quick to respond and we loved all of the animals around the property. We would definitely stay again!

This space was perfect for our big group. Plenty of seating and sleeping arrangements for everyone with tons of extra towels, pillows, and bedding. The location is a quiet and private spot along the river with beautiful views. We liked that it was within walking distance from downtown Winona and loved hanging out around a fire at the end of the day. Julie went above and beyond as a host, was easy to communicate with, and flexible with our checkout time so we could spend more time enjoying each other’s company in her great space!

Loved this spot for our weekend getaway to the river. Great place to land after days of exploring. Even better to not have to plan meals because of the fantastic restaurants right on site. Our daughter enjoyed running around and playing on the property. The fire pit was great to relax by. The hosts and the staff at the restaurants were all very kind and accommodating. We will be back!

This cozy apartment is right across the road from the Mississippi River, and there's a beautiful view. The kitchen was well equipped, and Paula even left us a couple of homemade cookies! This place was very comfortable, and a good deal compared to many other AirBnbs these days - no cleaning fee! Would love to come back sometime.

This spot was lovely and had everything we needed, we appreciated many small details like herbal tea and outdoor blankets. The location right on the water was perfect for birding. Dawn and Christine were responsive. Would return!!

A fun weekend getaway from the city life. Enjoyed the stillness of this Airbnb. Would recommend hiking around the property (maps inside cabin). Enjoyed the puppies, the roosters, the Amish buggies trotting by at dawn and dusk. The stars at night and the streams rolling through the valley will give you chills. It was the perfect weekend and we will be back!

Nature's Nest is an extremely peaceful retreat. The cabin is very cozy with wonderful views of the forests and creek just outside. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the property but were also close enough to Viroqua to pop into town for groceries and dinner. It was a lovely escape and we'll definitely be back.

What an AMAZING TREASURE of a property!! We stayed in the middle cabin, which is conveniently closest to the restroom but not by any means “too close”. Despite having 3 cabins near each other, the views from the windows for the most part made us feel like we were the only cabin and completely surrounded by nature (the skylights with views of the tree tops from bed really took that “retreat” feeling over the top). Sweet bird chirps gently waking us up in the morning, a little hiking trail that was the perfect challenge and scenic level, and hands down the most shockingly clean and cute restrooms for a wooded surrounding just put icing on the cake. I’m very tempted to make the long drive back to check out some of the other properties she has that look equally as cool! Thanks for everything, Chelsi!

The photos, description, and reviews of this place do not do it justice. WOW! What a little slice of heaven. My husband and I stayed at this home with our three elementary aged children over a gorgeous fall weekend and it was everything we hoped it would be and more. Jean and Joe did not overlook one detail. The kitchen was brand new, incredibly organized, and spotless. It had everything you could need to cook, grill, or bake meals. The bottled water in the fridge was a very thoughtful touch! The bedrooms were perfect for 2 adults and 3 children. The bathrooms were clean, stocked with towels, and had plenty of everything you’d need. We spent the weekend fishing off the dock (dozens and dozens caught and released 🎣), playing games, and reading books. What a treat! Thanks for sharing this tranquil oasis with us, Jean and Joe! We can’t wait to visit again soon!

Aptly referred to as the perched cabin, we enjoyed watching the barges on Lake Pepin, the trains passing along the river’s edge and the eagles soaring above us, all from our perch above the lake. The porch provided fantastic views. We will visit again.

We had a great experience even in the midst of the winter storms. Our cabin was so cute and stayed warm and cozy. Greg was very helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We will definitely stay again.

From the moment we arrived, we felt a sense of adventure and freedom, opening our minds to explore and embrace the beauty around us. Leslie was so sweet, and Roger was simply AWESOME! We had an unforgettable time with our 10-year-old daughter, feeding the fish, exploring the area, and experiencing the "off-the-grid" lifestyle while still enjoying all the comforts of home. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation for the whole family. The surroundings were absolutely gorgeous—every little detail made the stay perfect. We will definitely be coming back!
