Kathy’s place is adorable! And she is a wonderful host! Even going the extra mile to have a tray full of snacks which my college aged son loved! And bagels, muffins, toast, etc., available for you in the freezer, as well as a Keurig coffee machine with coffee, tea, and cider & condiments. (She even had sugar in the raw, my face!!) This place is in a great location close to the city but you feel like you’re in the countryside. There are even stray “country cats” that come around, that we fed, and my son loved that!! It Was a great location for us to rest at while visiting sick and elderly family nearby, so it offered a respite from that craziness. We would definitely stay again. The house is adorable with all the cute touches! 1000 stars for the host and the house!! Thank you Kathy for a wonderful stay and for all of your cute touches, answering our questions, and your hospitable nature! We will be back, wishing you all the best!!!

Julie’s place was the perfect spot for our family to stay while visiting with family in the area. Well stocked, comfortable beds and a wonderful little house. Julie was very friendly and helpful! If we need a place in Rochelle again, this will be it!

Kristy’s place was as described and comfortable. Was willing to work with me on check out time to meet my needs. Quick to respond to all communication. Would stay here again. Love that it was pet friendly!

This place was the perfect retreat for a few days away from home. Even in the off season we stayed entertained with the games and hot tub, making every moment enjoyable. Nestled in a charming yet private neighborhood, the home is spotless, thoughtfully maintained, and filled with warmth. It’s convenient location made exploring easy while still offering a peaceful escape. A truly wonderful stay.

Place is an absolute gem. Very family friendly with plenty of things to do. Lots of space and rooms to relax. Beth provides more than most places I've stayed. Would definitely stay here again!

A quiet little getaway. I live a mile or so from a busy highway and had not realized that it is never truly quiet until I woke up from a great sleep to the sound of birds, and only birds. If you are looking to go back in time to a more simple, technology-free stay (although they do have WiFi!), you will like it here. We listened to old time records, there was farm fresh milk in the fridge, and coffee for the morning. Everything was clean and tidy, you wouldn't know that someone else stayed there the night before. Heather was very helpful & flexible which is good because our plans kept evolving up to the last minute. She left lights on for us because we were delayed and didn't arrive until after dark. The only difference from the photos is that there were no bunk beds, instead there were two full(?)sized beds, which worked for us since my son traveled on without us (another evolution in our plans) My only regret is we couldn't stay long enough to fully make use of this peaceful place.

This was my second time staying here, and it was once again absolutely lovely. Charming and comfortable. Wonderful hosts, and Mary prepares a beautiful and delicious breakfast. I highly recommend a stay here. You’ll want to come back, just like me.

I love historic homes and this one is quite lovely. The host is very personable also and is so welcoming with her shared areas. The upstairs bedroom, sitting room, and bathroom are perfectly, beautifully, and tastefully decorated and quite comfortable. We felt right at home. The experience you feel here just adds to the pleasure of traveling.

Nicole and family were extremely friendly and welcoming of my pet and myself. Very knowledgeable about the area, the entire family makes you feel as one of their own, were proactive about all needs, this is a wonderful play to stay for anyone needing a place in the area. Highly recommend this location and would book again!
