Wansfell Holme is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed period house set in a perfect location in the Lake District National Park, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. We have incredible views over Lake Windermere (100 yards from the house), and there is easy access to the lake, woods and fells . In addition, Waterhead and Ambleside are within easy walking distance, and we are more or less central for visits to other parts of the Lake District by car.

Newly renovated in 2019, the house is stylish, comfortable and luxurious so you can relax and enjoy Lake District life in stunning Windermere. Ideally situated, a 5 minute walk will get you to the centre of the village, a 10 minute walk to the lake and a 20 minute walk will take you to Bowness.

Modern ground floor two bedroomed flat with a king size bed and double bed. Private patio with bistro set. Includes free private off road parking. Check in 3PM, check out 11AM. Bed linen, towels, cooking utensils plus some basic cleaning and cooking condiments provided but no toiletries for environmental reasons. Quick walking distance to Bowness, just a little further to Windermere.

The owners are not new to holiday letting and whilst they have enjoyed spending time at their Lake District cottage and created a beautiful cosy cottage.
