Our stay was very nice! Our top requests are clean, quiet and comfortable beds. All three were met. Pat, was very friendly and helpful with our stay. I would stay there again!

We really loved staying at Katie's home. She responded very quickly, and we were allowed to use everything in the house and garage. The house was beautiful and near the lake. It's a quiet place close to nature. The kids loved it.

Great place! Beautiful, cozy, clean home in a quiet neighborhood. Very convenient walk to all that Main St has to offer:-) Perfect for two families (or, in our case, adults traveling with our 20-25yr old kids—the “Cousin Crew” claimed the downstairs space with its own kitchen and entrance—worked out great for all!) The pool was perfect for a dip and some happy hour treats. Would stay here again!

We were in town for a hockey tournament and five people were staying here. There was plenty of room for all five us comfortably. Everyone had their own bedroom (three single people and one couple). There was a great view of the lake outside the front of the house. Everything from the doors to the light switches, refrigerator, and everything in between was labeled so you knew exactly how something worked (which was a huge plus...it took the guess work out of things). We definitely would stay again if in town.

What a beautiful property! Enough room for all of us (7) to have our own space but still spend time with each other. Very clean and all amenities in the home were accessible; had everything you needed. Would definitely come back! Definitely listen to the recommendation to have an all wheel drive/ terrain vehicle in the winter; Joanna was very responsive and helpful when needed. Even dropped off fresh eggs which were beautiful and delicious. Wonderful host 🙏🏼❤️

Our first time at Lynda's home in the woods. Place was exactly how described! Was very cozy and we had everything we needed for our stay. Great location, very private and close to skiing and town. We enjoyed to sauna every day. We got to relax and really enjoy ourselves. Lynda was very quickly to respond and was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely plan to go back, we loved it!

No complaints about our stay! My husband is very picky about where he stays and as we pulled out of the driveway he said “you did a great job finding this one!” House was spotless upon entry and had helpful instructions everywhere about how to run appliances. We loved the hot tub after a long day walking around Lake Placid. Our dog was very happy too, there was lots of room in the house for her to explore. Cassandra was always very responsive to anything I needed. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back someday!

There were 4 couples in our group and we had plenty of room to spread out! The location was beautiful with all the snow covered trees. We did use the wood stove insert and it heats the cabin really well! We were certainly not chilled when inside; the floor heat is nice too. Enjoyed the hot tub and the ping pong and foosball in the basement. Unfortunately, the dart board was missing. We cooked dinner all 3 nights and found the kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfy, water pressure and temp were great and the driveway was cleared from ice and snow! I definitely recommend this cabin!

On our last day we saw a spectacular sunset which was indicative of our whole stay. The star was of course the wonderful setting on the lake. It was enhanced by how tastefully the house was renovated, decorated and fully supplied with everything we needed. It truely exceeded our expectations and made for a memorable experience in the beautiful state of Vermont.

Great place to stay if skiing at whiteface! Robert and Nancy were extremely helpful and quick to respond. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to lake placid.

Sonja is amazing to deal with. Very proactive and accessible. The house was in great shape. Her bathrooms were great - up to date, great hot water/pressure. She leaves clear directions and sets up the home to look like an inn (waters and flowers in the bedrooms). Perfect location to walk to town and only 15 mins from Whiteface. Very enjoyable and relaxing weekend.

John was a great host who communicated quickly and has one of the BEST guide books on Airbnb. His home is an historic farmhouse which is what is appealing since it doesn’t feel like a run of the mill Airbnb. When you enter you immediately know you’re inside a home that has been added to over the years. The kitchen is very well appointed and large and has the original 40’s / 50’s era cabinetry. Very cool feature. The beds were plentiful for large families and comfortable. All in all we had a very good experience staying at this heirloom family home.
