Located on Wilmington Island - 15 minutes from historic downtown Savannah and 15 minutes from Tybee Island beach - but not sure why you would ever want to leave our beautiful view of Half Moon River, Wilmington Island Sound, the barrier islands and the ocean beyond! We rent the bottom floor of our vacation home - it has its own separate entrances. 900 foot dock to walk to the river to fish, look for porpoises or go crabbing. Watch the herons and egrets in the marsh at low tide.

Prime location for a beach getaway! Perfect for parking your car and leaving it, because the beach, pier, restaurants, shopping, and night life are just a walk away! The lazy pelican is located on a quite, low traffic street. It is approximately a 2 minute walk to the beach and less than a 4 minute walk to many of Tybee’s restaurants, bars, and shops. Tybee Island is an undiscovered beach town off the coast of Georgia, and just a skip away from beautiful historic Savannah.

This 2 bedroom 2 bath unit at The Barracks on Tybee overlooks Jaycee park and features soaring ceilings, seasonally heated pool, professional kitchen with marble counters, and front porch rockers for ultimate beach vibes and relaxation. There is also an on-site Golf Cart that is separately rentable per day (rentable days are 10 am to 10 am). The link to rent the golf cart will be sent when a reservation is made for the house.
