The Stables

The original stable to historic 160 year old Telegraph House has been renovated to a self contained one bedroom guesthouse with new en-suite , living area and well equipped kitchenette with fridge, microwave, cooktop and coffee machine. The living area has a wood burner fireplace, table and chairs, sofa, television, internet (NBN) and French doors opening onto verandah. The property has a secure yard and stall for a horse - $20 per night - and plenty of secure off street parking for a rig.

"Akuna" Homestead, Farm Stay B&B Accommodation

Country living at its best. This homestead has been renovated and is delightfull. Enjoy a bubblebath by candlelight in a freestanding bath and take as much time as you like while your other guests use the 2nd bathroom. This house has 4 bedrooms one with a king and 2 with queen size beds. The fourth bedroom has 2 single beds. Enjoy the peace and quiet and the scenic views from the front verandah. There is a BBQ for you to enjoy some outdoor dining. There is one airconditioner in the loungeroom.

We are approximately an 7 1/2 hour drive from Brisbane and 4 1/2 hours from Sydney and we are located 2 minutes off the New England Highway. There is a local pub which serves evening meals Tuesday to Sunday and great cafes nearby in Quirindi and Willow Ttree.

A farm setting 20 mins from Tamworth. A quiet and comfortable flat with private facilities. King bed with own bathroom and kitchenette. Separate entrance with access to beautiful verandah views of the peaceful countryside. Pets are most welcome, there is a run for dogs and a crate available if needed. It is important if they are free in the flat that they are house trained and do not get on or in the bed. When first arriving or walking around the farm they need initially to be on a lead.

Short Street Cottage is a renovated 3 bedroom home on a 300acre working farm in the picturesque village of Weabonga, in the foothills of the New England Tablelands. It provides a secluded and quiet stay for families or small groups of 6 to get away from it all in comfort and luxury. Beautifully furnished with restored and vintage furniture and a carefully curated selection of artwork and treasures. For the winter months there is a cosy wood burning heater and an outdoor fire pit .

Little House in the Nursery happily sustainable

Only a little off the beaten track but a long way from worry. An old stable in the middle of an operating native seed farm, rebuilt almost entirely with repurposed materials to accommodate our children and their families when they come to stay. Comfortable, welcoming and idiosyncratic and, at the same time, highly functional and almost bullet proof. In the style of the country but definitely not Country Style. Live inside, live outside and expect to be part of whatever is happening!

Heritage on the Line is a lovingly renovated 100-year-old railway master’s cottage in the heart of Murrurundi.
