This is an efficiency unit in a 4plex, queen size bed, 12 foot ceiling, shower stall, internet, desk and chair, small kitchenette with sink, smaller fridge/freezer, air fryer, microwave . It is on the ground level. We are close to town, 30 minutes from Hatchers pass, lots of hiking, golf 5 minutes away, local breweries. We work hard to give a safe clean environment to stay so please no smoking or pets. (At this time late check out or early check in is not available sorry for any inconvenience

A peaceful escape retreat: the Aurora Lights Cabins are independent, family-run, country cabins in a picturesque setting overlooking the Chugach Mountain Range and backed up to protected wilderness land which hosts sandhill cranes in summer and moose year-round. Our 2-story townhouse (with lots of sound-proofing) offers unique Alaskan-themed decor, a king-sized and a full-sized beds, black-out curtains for relaxing sleep even in the midnight sun, heater, bathroom, and a basic-stocked kitchen.

Quaint stay in heart of Wasilla

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Close to downtown Wasilla and only minutes away from restaurants. Take a 30 min drive to the top of Hatcher’s Pass and visit the Independence Mine and take a scenic drive over to Willow. Take a 1 hr drive to Talkeetna. Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier! NO SMOKERS please as we live here as well and don’t enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke around our home. Thank you.

This downstairs unit of the house has many amenities that include but are not limited to a high-quality bed, heated floors, waterfall shower with stone floor, full kitchen for cooking, outdoor seating, shared outdoor fire pit (wood provided), beautiful grass yard, and more. The building is a duplex with a unit upstairs and a unit downstairs. It is likely you could hear upstairs guests, specifically during their water use when showering or washing laundry. Our Cozy Corner Studio Apartment is centrally located in Wasilla yet offers a quiet retreat for individuals and small families. View of the Chugach Mountains is superb from the property although limited from this basement, studio apartment. Close to: Iditarod Headquarters, Lake Lucille Park (dog park)& two drive thru coffee huts. A short drive to shopping, dining, and entertainment. Also close to the Menard Center which hosts many events. Host family and pets live fulltime at this residence.

This duplex is minutes away from the gas station, coffee shop, our historic Palmer town & 10 minutes from Hatcher Pass, a great place for snowboard & skiing in the winter and hiking & berry picking in the summer.

We call this the "Blue Ice Aviation Lounge". It is a private upstairs apartment in my hangar. The Lounge is modern, cozy, Alaskan, and very comfortable with a slight aviation theme. We have Skeetawk ski area, and the Government Peak Recreation Area within 15 min. GPRA has lighted ski trails and biking.
