Marnie and Steve’s AirBnB accommodation is clean, private, and secure. They made me feel at home. WiFi was strong, and I was able to work online as naturally as if I’d been in my own home office. They were helpful and friendly, but also respectful of my privacy. The dorm-sized refrigerator and microwave helped me save money on food, the twin bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom with shower was extremely clean and functional. I highly recommend this accommodation, and would stay there again.

This is a great residence for anyone wishing to stay in the area. Comfortable and clean. Just as advertised. Definitely a home away from home. Gerta was quick to respond to all communications.

Absolutely the best location in Portsmouth! Charming home with interesting history. A very short walk to great Portsmouth attractions, the waterfront, ferries to Norfolk, etc. Highly recommend Cathy’s place for your stay.

If I could give 6* I would. Not having been in this area was like driving into somewhere like Beverly Hills. The added bonus of a pristine beach less than 100m walk away. To our surprise the beach was. It without sightings of multiple dolphins each visit. The house itself was extremely cosy. Good communal areas. Gym room outside along with a large deep jacuzzi that was always hot on entry. The house was surprisingly larger inside than the photos actually show. Multiple spaces for up to 4 cars infront of the house. The locals were all very polite even to the point that our next door neighbour knocked on the door to explain which way to leave the bins. I would recommend this place to anyone and will 110% come here again. The access and positioning as close as the house is to the beach is amazing. Thank you so much. 6* ;)

This location is perfect if you will be visiting the Norfolk or Va Beach area! The Hosts are friendly and respond within minutes. The check-in process was seamless. My friends and I all had our own bedrooms with plenty of space. We will definitely book again!!

Such a perfect end of summer trip as two families of four. We spent almost the entire time outside, using the standup paddle boards at our small private beach, which is less than half a mile from the house and really easy to get to. The kids had so much fun, feeding the pigs and visiting the cows. We brought the kids bikes as all of the little back Roads were really fun to navigate, the kids said they would love to go back! The hosts were excellent, delicious ciders for the adults right next-door and we got ground beef and steaks from them for both the nights We were there to grill out.

Very nice spot, I grew up in Virginia Beach and it's remarkable how much it's changed. I think this Airbnb really gives even the nicest local hotels a run for their money, you're certainly not going to find a bathtub at any of them for this price. Snack and drinks were a nice touch as well.

The best group to work with for your travel needs! They helped me get into a place last minute and everything they said was promised! Perfectly clean and well taken care of!

My room was not only extremely clean, but was also in an adorable, convenient area as well. The check in message was very informative and I had no trouble getting into my room. The other people staying in the building were respectful and quiet as well. Will definitely be staying again!

Albemarle 202 was an excellent place to stay for a weekend trip to Virginia Beach! Quiet and comfy space to stay in that was super close to everything. I would definitely recommend staying here for a simple, clean, and comfortable stay near the beach.

Very clean, very safe part of town. I highly recommend this spot for any small group!

Peter's place is an oceanfront unit, on the boardwalk. The building was somewhat older, and the pool was somewhat small, but the staff were friendly and accommodating. The Ocean view was spectacular, and the convenience to the beach, restaurants and attractions was excellent. I had looked up reviews on the building online, and became a bit skeptical as to how our stay might turn out. As it turns out, we had a great time on the beach, and relaxing on the balcony. The unit has a flat-screen with cable in the bedroom and livingroom. We would gladly stay again.

This place was fantastic. Loved the walkability factor to the beach. Also, the hot tub and breakfast spread in the morning were a great addition. This is the second time I've stayed here, I will be back!

mark was a wonderful host. He was very attentive to my needs as a guest and was also very sociable. His place has so much charm and personality - I could really fee the joy that eminated from it. Room was great and the bed comfortable, and I must say the backyard was kinda magical. 100% i'd stay again

Lovely visit and super easy to find, check in, etc. Sue made a really nice breakfast and it was fun chatting with her and the other guests.

Lisette was immediately available to meet us when we arrived. Our room was ready and in nice shape. This is our second stay at the B&B. Her Breakfasts are amazing - she always has a fresh fruit course, a main course and a sweet baked good. Yesterday was fresh pineapple with yogurt and granola, sauteed ham and eggs, glazed sweet role, coffee and juice. We did not go on our adventures hungry! Lisette and her husband made us feel like family and we enjoyed talking with them over breakfast. We will definitely be back. If you enjoy historic inns, this one will be a treat.

You guys were the BEST! we can’t stop talking about our trip to Williamsburg and your beautiful bed and breakfast! The room was beyond beautiful and The theme was fantastic and our breakfast name plates were just that finishing touch! Debbie and her husband take a great deal of pride in their home and Bed & Breakfast. They go above and beyond to make sure their guests feel right at home, they have a fantastic system and are very organized! The breakfast is ALONE WORTH BOOKING THEM FOR! Never have I or my husband had such an outstanding and beautifully set up breakfast at a B & B before. My husband still keeps saying he misses Debbie’s breakfasts! They are both extremely knowledgeable and they show you the best places to eat and explore while you’re in town! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I would highly recommend the Wyatt House. Our host, Lynn, was very sweet, knew a lot about the area, and gave great suggestions on where to go and eat. She was very accommodating for us, providing additional flexibility so that we could make sure we had our 21-month-old son clean and fed before we left for the long car ride home.

David's place is absolutely magical! The home is lived-in with not many frills, but very comfortable and has everything you need. David is super sweet and loving, happy to hang out or let you have your space, and an amazing teacher for paddling and staying safe while doing it. Breakfast is a simple cereal bar with coffee and juice and fruit. We did not mind being vegetarian in the home at all, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook whatever you please, though you might want to bring in groceries from the mainland if you have any dietary restrictions. But the real star of the show is the incredible outdoor space: private, remote, full of beautiful birds and gorgeous sunsets over the water. Having coffee in the morning on the dock and planning whether my mom and I would use a kayak or canoe to paddle out to the little inlet with the swimming hole? Heaven. Oh yes, and Poppi the cat is one of the cutest this cat-lover has ever seen. He's sort of like a little black goat, hopping around and wagging his half-tail (he's a survivor from a bird attack when he was a kitten)! This is a place for people who love nature and animals, with a cute town for a little nightlife and public concerts and pool options and seafood restaurants a short drive away.

We stayed in the Patriot Suite and the King Size Bed was AWESOME!!! Amy & Paul were great Host and made you feel like family. We even went to church with them and were highly blessed! Thank you Amy & Paul for everything!!! We highly recommend staying there! Nancy & Randell
