Liz was an amazing host. She was super clear on instructions on how to get inside (which I am VERY grateful for!) She even included pictures of where everything was. The property was even cuter than it looked in the pictures. I would highly reccomend staying here!

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was close to public transport while also being quiet. The heat worked great while we were there as well.

Peaceful, relaxing and private. We enjoyed the beauty and serenity of the 5 acres and the Kankakee River flowing. I also honed up on my billiard skills. This visit was much better than we anticipated and we lived the town of Wilmington where my Uncle also lived. All in all we will be back for sure!

We have stayed at Ella’s home before. It was an excellent experience both times. So conveniently located for our itinerary. The area feels very safe and we felt at home.

This is our 2nd time staying here and will use it again in May if available. Nice. Quiet. Clean! I loved the bathtub & shower. Wish the truck across the street didn't block driveway, but no control of that!

Sean and Katie made sure we had everything we needed to be able to rest and relax. The house was easy to identify, the neighborhood felt safe, and the place was both neat and clean. Katie left water in the fridge for us and coffee selections to brew. The house is 9 minutes from Down Home Guitars which has a great selection of high quality acoustic guitars, dwarfing most guitar/ music shops.

Even before check-in, the hosts were incredibly attentive, making sure we were taken care of every step of the way. They graciously allowed us to check in early and even offered a late checkout to accommodate our travel plans. We will definitely be coming back to Chicago and wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else but one of their Airbnbs. Hands down, the best experience I’ve ever had! It was a vibe when it needed to be and peace and quiet while we slept. Like I said it was like staying at a family members house while they were out of town! Thank ya’ll so much for making this weekend special❤️

Our family had a wonderful time at the White House for Thanksgiving. This house is one of the best I have ever rented. The attention to detail was special and reflected their heart for the home and their guests. If you are staying in the area this has to be your first choice. When we walked in the house we felt right at home. The place was decorated and ready for us. The kitchen is stocked better than any house I have rented. Plus, the style was impeccable. It even has a commercial refrigerator and freezer. The restroom downstairs has a heated toilet seat! The shower was great!!! I really cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this home. Do yourself a favor and book this rental, you won’t regret it.

Aleksandra was very helpful, communicated very well when I needed something or had a question. The place was comfortable and clean. Spacious enough for several people although I stayed there pretty much alone.

I had a great stay at Newell’s place! The home was clean, cozy, and just as described in the listing. Check-in was smooth, and communication with Newell was quick and helpful the whole time. The neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, and I appreciated the extra touches like fresh towels, local recommendations, and a fully stocked kitchen.
