Josh and Alyssa are great hosts. They are friendly and responsive, and made our stay easy and enjoyable. Their place is set up well, with lots of things to do inside and out. Not to mention, their rates are very reasonable. I would recommend staying with them.

We had a fantastic three-day stay at a lovely cottage in Minden Hills, Ontario, to celebrate the New Year. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the peaceful surroundings and the picturesque winter landscape. The cottage was cozy, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. One of the highlights of our experience was how responsive and helpful Paul was. Whenever we had questions or needed assistance, he was quick to reply and always made sure we had everything we needed. His attentiveness added a personal touch that truly elevated our trip. The location was perfect, offering both tranquility and access to nearby trails for winter walks. We spent our evenings relaxing by the fire and enjoying the quiet beauty of the snowy woods. Words cannot describe how impressed we were with Laughing Moose. The minute I walked in the front door I felt I could live here for ever. The incredible views, the spacious kitchen the stylish little pieces of decor make this place comfortable, relaxing and luxury. Janice pays attention to every little detail to ensure we had a fabulous time! From the selection of quality glasses, crockery and cooking utensils to the games and puzzles ( we completed a full jig saw puzzle between us) we had everything we could possibly need and much more. Even a thoughtful and delicious blueberry pie to welcome us !! We were visiting from Australia and planned this weekend with our two sons and families for a getaway together. It couldn’t have been more perfect and we made such fabulous memories. So much space for all 8 of us plus the 2 dogs! I can’t thank you enough for this special visit! Nous avons adoré ce chalet situé dans un lieu calme, paisible, beau. Le logement était très bien équipé (nous avons même trouvé un adaptateur alors que nous n'avions pas pris le nôtre). Le parking devant le chalet n'est pas accessible sans voiture adaptée à cette période de l'année, comme nous l'a indiqué l'hôte, nous nous sommes garés facilement sur la route très proche du logement.

This cottage is an absolute gem. We had the best time, as did our golden retriever, by far one of his funnest weekends ever!!! The sandy beach was perfect for him. We loved the docks, kayaks, row boat, paddle board, all so fun and peaceful on the calm lake. The cottage was in a great location, easy to find. The inside of the cottage was so cozy. Minden is so close and such a cute town. Thank you!!!

We booked the airbnb very last minute and Lixin reached out to us promptly and gave us clear instructions. The cottage is stunning , it actually looks better than the pictures. overall, we had a wonderful weekend over there.

A great stay! My partner, my dog, and I have been coming to The Lodge for 4 years now and it’s always a fantastic time. It is a perfect and cozy winter stay. We loving coming back to Golden Lake year after year for The Lodge but also because Cindy is such a wonderful host. She is very responsive with any questions or concerns. 10/10 would recommend :)

Our family had a wonderful stay. The stunning views are even better than the pictures. The kids loved both the outdoor and indoor activities, with canoeing and local attractions being the highlights for us. Hosts Cindy and Mike were extremely helpful, offering excellent recommendations and exceeding our expectations. The place had a welcoming vibe. Highly recommended—a hidden gem.

Lovely cozy cottage along the water. Enjoyable spot to hang by the fire pit on the beach. Very comfortable and quaint cabin with a well stocked kitchen. Would recommend for nice little getaway.

Footprints is a hidden gem in the Kawarthas, a little paradise! lots of things to do in the resort, lots of space and seating areas. Swimming in the beautiful lake was perfect! We were very fortunate to have the entire place for ourselves for almost two days, when guests arrived for the weekend we found that everyone knows how to be respectful of your space. It was nice to share stories by the fire or by the hot tub with friendly people. We would love to go back!

Cindy und Desmond waren sehr freundliche und proaktive Gastgeber und haben uns einige Tipps und Wanderrouten für die Umgebung geschickt. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und wirklich gemütlich. Vor allem die Küche hatte alles, was wir zum Kochen vor Ort benötigten. Die Lage am See ist atemberaubend und der Algonquin Nationalpark ist gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Es hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen und wir wären am liebsten noch länger geblieben.

It was an awesome fall staycation for us, looking forward to enjoy this beauty in summer.

Tracey was a great host and our group loved the cottage. We had a nice fall weekend and the views were incredible. The cottage had everything we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away for a relaxing weekend on the lake.

Leah was very helpful in making sure our stay went seamless. Took care of plowing/snowblowing to make the property accessible to all areas of interest as with going had some awful weather.(Snow with more Snow). lol. Again she was very responsive with questions I had and Informative to the specifics of the area. Cozy spot, great to relax and unwind. Would definitely go again, perhaps a great summertime spot.

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

We had an enjoyable Thanksgiving. The house is spacious and clean, with a workable kitchen. The backyard is big in size and has lots of activities.

My fiancee and I wanted a place where we could experience winter with our 14 month old son. This cottage was perfect. It's on a beautiful, quiet, large piece of property. There was so much snow on the ground but we were still able to enjoy ourselves! There was a massive snow storm coming so unfortunately we had to end our visit early. The inside of the cottage is set up beautifully and has everything you should need. Our son is just learning to walk and had a blast zooming around the main floor. Even though we had to leave early we still enjoyed our stay and would love to check it out again. Luke, Kelce, Grady

This was my second stay at this location, and again it did not disappoint. The hosts are incredibly thoughtful with the small touches, and in our case this time they braved a true blizzard to ensure the Valentine's hot tub was available. The location is perfect. The view is perfect. It's a cozy place in the winter (I've been both times in the winter), but I can tell it would be and incredible summer stay.
