If you want to see something unique, the annual Cheese Rolling Competition is held at the end of May on Cooper's Hill, four miles away. People working away from home are always welcome.

There are amazing walks along the Cotswold Way which goes through the village. There are stunning bike rides in the area and we provide a very secure bike shed to store your bikes. Stratford Court is a beautiful Grade II listed home in the heart of the Cotswolds. The tastefully renovated and secluded accommodation is the former Servants' Quarters on the top floor accessed by the original 1600s stone staircase. It really is “Downstairs Upstairs” with two en suite double bedrooms (Hudson & Bridges) and each can be made up with either King Size or Twin beds. This is an idyllic location with stunning views but many amenities and attractions are within walking distance.

Just a few miles from J13 of the M5, we are in an area of outstanding natural beauty with access to open common land and ancient woodland, where mountains bikers, runners walkers and horse riders can all enjoy outdoor activities. The famous Cotswold Way runs close to the property.

Our space is a self contained studio with a bed, sofa, workspace and air con, light and airy it is the ideal base to explore the Stroud Valleys. N.B. THERE IS BUILDING WORK ON OUR HOUSE, THE ANNEXE IS A SEPARATE BUILDING BUT CLOSE TO OUR HOUSE. WORK WILL BE MON-FRI ONLY, BUT THERE WILL BE BUILDING MATERIALS AND MESS IN THE GARDEN. The interior of the annexe will be unaffected, but we have reduced the price to reflect the substandard exterior. Please only book if you understand this.

The studio is a attached to a large house and guests are welcome to enjoy our gardens when not in use by our family. It sleeps 4 (1 double and 1 sofa bed in the same room). Self catered- but can stock fridge in advance on request. Easy access to Stroud, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tetbury, Cirencester. Beautiful local walks and pubs.
