A really great home for our group of 11 It fit everyone perfectly The bathrooms were nice and spacious We got to enjoy the fireplace and the view of the stars at night were really clear! The town is just a few minutes away with the things you need and we were just a quick drive to Turoa ski fields. I highly recommend this for big groups

Lovely place to stay. Clean and tidy house. Plenty more available in the home than noted on the site. Great spot and easy information to check in/check out.

Easy to find on main street. Steep internal stairs up to apartment. Large rooms and good heating. Plenty of comfy chairs in lounge. Kitchenware somewhat limited but if you're not cooking much this wouldn't be a problem. Great apartment for groups or large families.

We stayed at the Townhouse over Christmas and my partner's birthday, so we were very happy to find the place exceeded our expectations! It was very clean and comfortable, we had lots of space, the water pressure in the shower was amazing, for two people there was a lot of cups, plates and cutlery so you could really fill up the dishwasher. Four Square is just up the road and you get there dry even in the pouring rain thanks to the arcades. The Makotuku River Trail is a beautiful little walk right around the corner and it's an easy drive to Tongariro National Park. Also check out the craft shop just across the street, the people who work there are lovely and up for a chat. :) The hosts Anton & Frances were so very helpful in providing extra baking equipment and were always friendly and very quick in responding to my messages. I can't recommend this place highly enough, it was a real treat to spend the holidays there. Thank you!!

What a lovely place to stay! Big spacious home that feels very homely. Great communication with Be My guest. As mentioned in the description though, it is indeed a very tight driveway and carport to get in and out!! We have a Toyota highlander with a bike rack on the back and we just made it through. We tried to park in the carport (without the bike rack on) but it was so hard getting around that extremely tight corner that we just parked in front of the house for the rest of our stay and backed out of the driveway. Off-street parking is only an option during the day or further away as there are signs that you aren't allowed to park along the road overnight. The place is in a great location, the lake is just across the road, coffee carts about 50m away and to town it's only about a 10-15min walk. We had a great stay and would definitely be staying again.

Very clean and comfortable place... even left some milk in fridge for our arrival and pods for coffee (however we bought our own). Perfectly positioned right across the quiet road from the lake. Super comfortable linen and beds. Neighbours house is super close but they were away while we were there so didn't affect us. Great stay!

We really enjoyed our weekend at Sjouke's place. It was beautiful, kitchen really well supplied, lovely deck area and so clean. We wished that we had more time to hang out there and enjoy it during the day! Sjouke is a wonderful and responsive host. Thoroughly recommend and would love to stay again.

Loved this place. Very clean and tidy and the little personal touches didn't go unoticed. I don't think you could get any closer to most of Taupos shops. Great place to stay if attending summer concerts. If the short walk doesn't make your night, the burger joint you walk past will.

We had a such a good time at Sarah’s place. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything we needed. Communication was smooth and prompt; they were incredibly kind and accommodating throughout our stay. Definitely worth the price!

We spent 1 night at Ana's home wish we could of stayed longer. Her home had lots of room for our big group, it was well equipped, warm and clean, within easy driving distance to town. Absolutely loved the view of the lake & Mt ruapehu.

Stunning!! Wow this place really took our breath away! We couldn't believe that all this space was for us! The lake view was mesmerising! There was everything we could possibly need and then some! Jonathan was really a super host! Great communication before, during and after our stay. We can't wait to plan our next trip and hopefully we can book this place again. We just loved it!!

This is a gorgeous luxurious stay ⭐️ beautiful interior design, layout and super cozy - I couldn’t recommend this place enough hence our SECOND stay now and hopefully more in the future! Great location being within walking distance to the supermarket, cafes and restaurants. Only just a 40 minute drive to the ski slopes making it very convenient 🏂 Victoria was amazingly helpful and so welcoming. Both Arnika and Victoria’s communication throughout our stay was great. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home 😊
