Mel’s cottage was absolutely stunning! Bed was so comfortable. Clean fresh and comfortable linen. Cottage had everything we needed and a lovely breakfast was provided.

Beautiful property. So close to the biking trails. Peaceful setting. Happy chirping birdies. Well cared for property with a bounty of flora to brighten your spirits.

Caron’s cabin was rustic and as described. Facilities were good for one night, Caron left us some eggs and fruit from the land. Caron greeted us on arrival and added some history to the cabin which was great. It was a great place for us to stay on our long drive down south. Be warned, creepy crawlies love the cabin also!!

We enjoyed 3 nights at Behind the hedge. Although other properties are near by,it’s very private with carefully placed screening. Loved the artistic touches, the beautiful bathroom, comfortable bed, outdoor seating and of course proximity to the beach! Also love the materials used for the build and the coffee table! Can’t fault it really. It was perfect for us. Thanks Jeff

Everything you need tucked away on a beautiful lifestyle block on the northern side of the lake. Great to be able to take the dog and there is a lovely lake side path an easy walk away. Loved the country feel.

Lesley greeted us and was just lovely. Told us about what there was to do in the area, including eateries. Just a hop skip and jump to the swing bridge was awesome. Beautifully clean and tidy.

We felt at home from the start. The studio has everything that you need for a short stay and is beautifully decorated. It‘s cosy and practical at the same time. Even though there‘s no stove, you can easily prepare a nice breakfast (good coffee machine and a toaster) or other light meals. Kelly and Ashley even had some local recommendations like the Gastropub around the corner and the hot pools, which were great. Communication was very easy and friendly.

gotta love a place that is sooo close to the beach that you can jump in the ocean to start your day. great airbnb, clean, convenient location, very peaceful, and a few restaurants just down the road if you want it. kitchen set up is a bit quirky, but works for everything you need.

A dream place away from home, it felt like staying with family. Lovely cosy and with every possible treat and consideration for a guest. There were so many treasures that you find every time you open something. Our kitten also enjoyed the space and felt very included. Thank you for your kindness! We will return someday 💜

This place is a hidden gem in the area, and the host is incredibly friendly. After a long journey, we both felt right at home. The surroundings are private and peaceful, and the hospitality from the host was truly amazing. I highly recommend this place!

Our stay at Tahi Totara was an absolutely wonderful experience. Suzie and Murray were delightful and welcoming hosts and we were delighted to have the chance to enjoy some time in their little piece of paradise. Highly recommended 👌

We had the most comfortable of stays at Tui Glen. No other word than perfect can sum up our stay and interaction with Glendyr. It suited our needs to see relations in the area and to reach easily all our activities. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending a stay here. From hot tub, to swimming pool to bikes available for use, all was way beyond our expectations. Just wish we could have had more time available to use the amenities but we were busy visiting tourist attractions and family. 3rd time back and I'll keep returning when I need to travel - just delightful. Just me for work, far enough out of Tauranga to be quiet, but not too far. Very comfortable and Cricket (puppy) always swings by, but respectfully outside, in the hope of a snack!

We enjoyed staying at Jennifer’s and Graeme’s Bnb. The space is a good size and it’s in a separate building that looks out towards a lush garden. The building is in the back of the lot so it’s pretty quiet. Jennifer was very welcoming and even washed a load of clothes for us. ☺️ I enjoyed hearing Graeme’s stories about gold and silver mining in the area. We recommend this Bnb.

Had a nice little getaway spent in this lovely accommodation. I loved the spacious rooms and the warm cozy couches ! I also enjoyed the independent living situation this lovely accommodation provides (i.e a wash house washer/dryer, dish washer, oven/stove top ect). Definitely recommend this bnb! 10/10!

Perfect, luxurious, well-appointed studio in what is obviously one of the most beautiful places on earth. Very private and feels secluded but is a quick drive to Cambridge which has great cafes and even better pastries. We stayed here as a base for travel to Hobbiton, Rotorua and Taupo (a two hour drive but worth it) and highly recommend the back roads - the scenery is amazing. The studio itself has everything you need, the amenities are modern and high end and the bedding is so comfortable. We struggled to leave the comfort every morning, especially with the rain. Highly recommend staying here.

Had an amazing time at the fat fish over the Easter weeekend. We sadly didn’t get the full Waihi Beach experience as it bucketed down with rain most of our stay until the very last day (of course 😅) but still enjoyed the beautiful pristine accomodation. Jeanette was a star the whole time, very attentive, friendly and accomodating to all our needs. Recommend to anyone contemplating booking this listing, I know my husband and I will definitely be coming back again, hopefully in beach exploring weather. Oh my gosh the outside bath was definitely a highlight for me, even with the rain hitting my face constantly it created a tropical feel. The whole place was stunning, cute, and intimate. There’s a market every Sunday I believe, that we were lucky enough to catch, and it’s not too far from location. It isn’t a very large market but they have a lot of cute trinkets and good food, who doesn’t love a market? If you’re looking for a place in Waihi Beach to stay then this is your spot. A 10!
