The Old Shippon is a super little self-catering cottage for 2 situated in the glorious Peak District National Park. A cosy secluded retreat with wood-burner, fully equipped kitchen, private garden and secure off-road drive parking. Stunning views and walks from the door. The famous Dovedale beauty-spot is easily accessible straight from the cottage. There are 2 good cycling trails close by where you can hire bikes or if you bring your own we have a secure bike store.A very warm welcome awaits!

Delightful converted Stables offering one bedroom accommodation in the beautiful Peak District village of Alstonefield. The cosy living room includes a much admired kitchenette with stairs leading to the galleried bedroom and ensuite shower room. There are numerous scenic walks from the door, with the River Dove 10 mins walk away. Other attractions nearby include Chatsworth House and the Tissington Trail. The village also boasts a Michelin guide restaurant and a regular concert programme.

Pretty Victorian riverside cottage, Alstonefield

Dove Cottage is a former Victorian fishing lodge in a unique setting on the banks of the river Dove. It is situated 3/4 mile from the pretty village of Alstonefield and 5 1/2 miles north of the bustling market town of Ashbourne. The cottage overlooks a tranquil stretch of river running through Wolfscote Dale and a historic former water mill. A riverside footpath passes the bottom of the garden leading north along the river to Hartington and south to Dovedale and the Stepping Stones.

At the northern end of Dovedale, beside the sparkling River Dove, you will find scenic walks galore on your doorstep along footpaths and quiet lanes, or perhaps the Tissington or Manifold Trails, which offer easy walking/cycling and impressive views. Bertie's Shepherds Hut

Our cosy hut is the perfect way to enjoy a stay in the Peak district national park, set in the heart of the village of Alstonefield its surrounded by stunning walks and must visit locations! The hut is set in a private area of our campsite, with a full size double bed, kitchen, seating and dining area with outside seating, balcony and firepit. The little hut is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break including bedding and firewood so all you need to do is arrive!!

Great base for exploring this beautiful part of the White Peak, very popular with walkers and cyclists. Ideal for couples or single guests. Has a galleried double bedroom with shower and toilet. Downstairs there is an open plan sitting/diner with kitchen area. Featuring beamed ceilings. Small south facing sitting out area and off road parking.
