With access to York and the surrounding area, it is a perfect place for a weekend away or a longer stay for business, retreat, escape. There is a bus that runs from just outside to York. They do not run at the weekends during winter and never on a Sunday. There is a train station 3 miles away. Parking is available on the road. There is a shop 2 minutes away. No pets or children.

“Manor Croft” is a quaint detached cottage on a picture postcard village green at the bottom of the garden of Manor Cottage, enjoying complete privacy and has been tastefully refurbished and modernised including high speed WiFi connection and a smart TV. The cottage has Gas fired Central Heating and is fully double-glazed, with French Windows that lead out onto a fully enclosed and private patio area.

Snowdrop Cottage is a stone built, beamed Victorian mid terrace cottage in the Historic conservation village of Clifford, near Wetherby. Original features include old doors, pine floors feature fireplaces, stone hearth and log burning stove. A small dining area and a light fitted kitchen. Bedroom one has standard uk size single bed , the master has a Kingsize with feather duvets, and pillows, White Company sheets and countryside views. The bathroom on this floor has a shower over the bath.

Built on the historical site of Syningthwaite the cottages are named as such because of their close proximity to the Syningthwaite Priory. Each cottage is named after a Prioress that ruled the Priory during its life time. Alice's cottage is a spacious cottage which has its own private garden and BBQ. A hot tub can be added to the booking for £75 per stay.

The property is a beautiful maisonette at Station House, an iconic grade 2 listed former railway station built in 1841 .The history of the building can still clearly be seen; indeed your accommodation is in the old waiting rooms overlooking the station platform. Tours of the rest of the site may be available on request, including the old goods shed. Guests have access to the public footpath/cycle way adjacent to the property along the old railway line.

The Gables (LS24 8DP) is a 3 bedroom Edwardian villa in a quiet part of Tadcaster, ideally situated between York (9 miles) and Leeds (14 miles) and close to many popular wedding venues. Holidaymakers and workers are equally welcome. Parking is on the lane right outside. For those wanting to visit York, the Park and Ride at Askham Bar is 10 minutes away and a better option than parking in York. The Gables is not wheelchair friendly.
