Evelyn House Studio features open plan living with creative use of greenery and shelves as a natural divider between cosy sleeping area and comfortable living space. The kitchen area is fully equipped including microwave/convection oven. The bedroom accommodation is complemented with a tastefully designed ensuite shower room. Guests will have access to the entire flat. Guests will be greeted at the property with one set of keys and are welcome to ask as many questions as they like, including recommendations for eating and drinking. The townhouses in Pierrepont Street and Pierrepont Place were named in homage to the family of Evelyn Pierrepont, 2nd Duke of Kingston upon Hull, who sold the Bath Abbey Orchards site to John Wood the Elder and his business partner. The Garden Flat is quiet, cosy and on its own at the end of the garden. It's private for you to come and go uninterrupted. It's very well situated for Bath University, Prior Park and Monkton Combe. The city of Bath is a 20 min walk downhill and there are regular buses recommended for your return back up to Combe Down village. Sit out in the kitchen garden with fruit trees trained up trellising and enjoy country walks on the doorstep. A local Nisa and Deli are a short walk away in the village.
