We were scheduled to stay at this house for a week, but due to Hurricane Helene, we had to evacuate after three days. For the time we were there, the house was very nice and we greatly enjoyed the large living room area. That was definitely the highlight of the home. We would have liked to explore the area more and utilize some of their recommendations, but unfortunately, that was not possible. Would recommend the house to people looking for a large area for people to gather and talk.

Great location, just far enough from downtown to feel very peaceful, but an easy drive to get down to shops/restaurants. Check-in/check-out was very easy and the hosts were very communicative and friendly! Kitchen could have been a little better stocked (i.e., there was dish soap but no sponge, a coffeemaker but no filters) but nothing we couldn't work around. Overall a great stay!

Came for a short weekend trip and it was absolutely as described! The place felt very clean and well taken care of. Host was very helpful and communicative and was willing to reasonably accommodate our worries of traveling during the winter storm that passed through the day of our check-in, luckily we ended up making it! I would absolutely visit this property again.

Steve is super friendly and responsive which is helpful when you are coming from out of town. The house was amazing, plenty of common area and 2 balconies to sit with cup tea or wine, your choice. The bedrooms are spacious cutest up stairs loft area, definitely room for a quiet get away or family fun. It was so peaceful and tranquil and the outside hot tub was great and wicked clean. The town is so cute a little touristy but the people are extremely friendly, great restaurants, bars, bakeries You must take the train ride around town it is a great way to see hidden gems. The roller coaster is not what you think but a must do. Definitely if you have the chance stay here you will not be disapointed.

This is our second year staying at Steve’s place at Beech Mountain, and it was just as great as the first time! Seeing the sunset off the balcony was gorgeous and the kitchen was fully stocked for us to be able to cook meals after a long day of skiing. We also appreciated the little touches like flashlights and Hot Hands for late night walks.

Tom’s place is an excellent option for large groups or families. Located right along the French Broad River overlooking the northern extent of the Biltmore Estate, this place offers good views, very comfortable accommodations, and plenty to do both within the AirBnb and nearby. We were just a short distance from all Asheville has to offer, making getting to and from a breeze, even with a group of 10. If you’re looking for a sizable location for a weekend away, check out Tom’s place.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in Maggie Valley over Spring Break! Communication with the host was excellent — they were quick to respond and very helpful. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the cabin was stocked with essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and toiletries, which made settling in so easy. The kitchen was also thoughtfully equipped with a Brita water filter in the fridge, a nice selection of spices in the cabinet, and both a K-cup and a regular coffee maker. After busy days exploring the area, we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. Everything about our stay was comfortable and convenient. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had an amazing time I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it more , it as just the size we needed to house our son’s wedding party (5 groomsmen plus my family,it was nice having everyone together it was a wonderful stay

We have been visiting the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area for the past 10 years and this was the best cabin we’ve ever had! The view of the sun coming up over mountains was incredible, my wife and I would be on the back deck watching it every morning. The location is far enough away that it feels secluded and peaceful yet it’s still a very reasonable drive when you do want to visit Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin is new so everything works well and is clean. Other enjoyable aspects for us was the fire pit, arcade games, hot tub and outdoor TV where we watched a family movie together the last night before we returned home. Overall, highly recommend!!

Hosted our annual family get together at this location and it did not dissappoint. Beautiful home and surrounding property. Very quiet and peaceful with very nice hiking trails with elevation on property. Had 5 cars and a motorcycle in our group and had no problem parking. Fire area was very nice and we saw some good sized fish in the pond. Kitchen was well furnished and worked well for our large meals. Grill out back is nice and clean. Used the clubroom for gamenight a few times and had a great time. Love that every room has a balcony, you could lounge on during the morning. All you could hear were the birds or frogs at night. Had to contact the owner about a minor issue and they responded immediately. Highly reccommend this home and these hosts.

Our family of six had a great time staying here. Sarah's communication is really outstanding. She provided a lot of relevant information on the front end. I initially thought she over-communicated the expectations for accessing the house, but I can see why she feels obligated to do that. The house is in the mountains and the roads are very intimidating (steep) the first time. However, our minivan made them all just fine. We had an issue with one item and she worked tirelessly to get it addressed and resolved it beyond our expectations. She excels at customer service. After a day of hiking trails, our family enjoyed the hot tub, arcade game, and TVs. Our kids really wanted to see a bear during our stay and we had four in the front yard on our last night there. I think Sarah may have arranged for that as well . . . .

This was a great place for our family and their partners (8 adults total). Each couple had their own room and then we could get together in the share living space on the basement floor. We're all related so sharing bathrooms wasn't an issue as their were just 2 showers. The porches were nice extra space to sit on beautiful days but could use a good cleaning. We would recommend this home to anyone coming to the Smoky's!

Linda was highly responsive. Absolurely love this unit and location. Hope to be back soon and make use of the marina. Finally a place w tons of outlets for wfh. Very clean and comfortable. Thank you!

Nice and quaint. Owners of the airbnb are very friendly, always willing to help, and welcoming. Property is very beautiful and well kept. We went fishing in the pond and caught a bunch of fish (catch and release) throughout our time. Main stores are about 20-30 minute drive but theirs a dollar general about 3 minutes down the road. Lots to do in the area if needed. Good getaway to relax, and break contact from the world for a bit. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax, focus on family, and enjoy nature. Bunch of different hiking trails in the area and the city of Charlotte for everything it offers.

Such a charming spot and gorgeous vintage home! The lower level was so perfect for our kids and for cozy movie night. Bob was an excellent host. We’ll return for sure!

Wonderful location close to all the local happenings yet, far enough away for peacefulness. Super cute, well stocked with all needed necessities. Loved the thoughtful gift at check in. Definitely will be keeping this “one” on my do list again.

We really enjoyed our peaceful stay in this clean and nice location for our visit to Lake Jocassee and Keowee.

We absolutely loved this place as a get away for a couples’ weekend so much so that we are planning to return with our children this summer. It’s very homey and has everything you need to disconnect from things and relax. We can’t wait to return!

Luc and Denise were wonderful hosts. When we arrived, Luc showed us around the property and offered other amenities. Denise was so sweet, she brought us a key and chatted for a few minutes. It was so peaceful, and my husband and I enjoyed spending the evenings in the hot tub and relaxing. The photos posted don't do this home justice. It was beautifully decorated and was perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.
