Salt water swimming pool available, shared with hosts, but all privacy given. Conveniently located off Tauranga direct road from Rotorua for those travelling through.

Sweet Retreat

This studio-sized cabin is self-contained and approximately 100 meters from the main house. It has a very comfortable Queen-size bed with an electric blanket for colder months. A spacious deck with waterfall views and walnut trees compliments the cabin. It is situated on a 20-acre rural property, with a 20-minute drive to downtown Tauranga and a 10-minute drive to Bethlehem and Tauriko Crossing, offering dining and shopping options. Continental breakfast is included. Uber Eats also delivers!

The Orchard Studio.

Our newly renovated Studio has been a joy to create and we are excited to finally share this space with you. It is a private small Studio nestled in behind large 80 yr old Californian Redwood and Atlas Cedar trees looking out onto an organic avocado orchard and expansive gardens. It is a private studio on an orchard but handy to cafes , restaurants and shopping centers, just off the main Pyes Pa Road. If you are looking for something bigger we also have the Orchard Guesthouse on AirBnB.

You couldn’t get a closer location in this coastal paradise. Pilot Bay harbor is at the end of the drive way! A beautiful bay for swimming and relaxing as you watch boats and cruise ships sail by. Or walk 4 mins to the vibrant stretch of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops, hot pools, scenic walking tracks up and around Mt Maunganui or NZ’s best voted beach, Mt Maunganui beach. This bright, airy and peaceful cabin is a converted section of a dutch barn set in a lovely little garden surrounded by willow trees. There are great walks from the doorstep; around the estuary, which is just over the road, and beyond via the Omokoroa Cycleway. Further up the driveway you'll find the paddock with our two alpacas and a bubbling brook running through it. The cabin includes a kitchen with small oven, single induction hob and microwave. Fast wifi is included.

Come and enjoy the idyllic lifestyle that is Mount Maunganui. The Shaka Shack is a private studio and has all the latest mod cons. It is situated on our property but is an easy laid back and stylish space that you can come and go from at your leisure. We are a 3 minute stroll to the beach and a stones throw to Bayfair shopping centre, Baywave, Baypark/ASB Arena, Mount Main Street, Pilot Bay, restaurants, cafes and pubs.
