Kick back and relax in our retro cottage. The house is a former 1940s store front for the old apple orchard, and it has been remodeled to be a fun vacation spot that we also use regularly. Soak up that country feel while being close to downtown shopping and restaurants. You will have easy access to the Royal Gorge, rafting, climbing, hiking, and biking. The space has a great outdoor area that is decorated with local art. Sit on the front patio and enjoy watching the sunrise over the mountains.

The Aerie

A peaceful place nestled in the piñon/juniper forest, with the 14,000’ Sangre de Cristo peaks to the east and the San Luis Valley stretching west. Stunning sunsets! Very private. Hot tub. 10 minute drive to Crestone, near hiking trails and the numerous spiritual centers. This is also a great base camp for climbing Challenger Point and Kit Carson Peak. Just a half a mile from the Royal Gorge bike and hike trail system that runs 22 miles mostly along the Arkansas River which happens to be the most rafted river in the United States. Historic downtown with local cuisine and shopping including the Historical Royal Gorge Route Railroad is all just minutes away as is the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park.

Our mountain home is great for family gatherings, friends and children of all ages! This unique cabin was built by a local lumberjack and has a custom carving of Paul Bunyan in the living room. It is on the south end of town, about 5 min. from historic downtown. Rafting, hiking, zip lining, the Royal Gorge are all just minutes away from this comfortable stay.
