The Nicholas Stoltzfus Homestead is the oldest restored Amish property in Berks County, bought by Immigrant Nicholas Stoltzfus (ancestor of all Stoltzfus descendants in America) in 1771. You will be staying in a peaceful and cozy barn loft apartment with a private entrance beside the stone house. You can enjoy the flower gardens and birds, tour the house, take a bike ride or picnic on the lawn. Adjacent to the property is the Union Canal Towpath on the Tulpehocken Creek.
