The Donkey Dairy is one of a kind! Nestled on the slopes of the majestic Magaliesberg, this working donkey farm is home to a variety of friendly farm animals. On your visit you will be greeted by our alpacas, chickens, donkeys, horses, goats and even camels. If you would like to replace your cell phone’s morning alarm with the crowing of roosters or replace the hooting of cars with the braying of donkeys, the solar powered Donkey Dairy Cottage is the place for you! This beautifully designed open plan stone and glass house sits in a private reserve in the unique Magaliesberg conservation area, surrounded by indigenous bush with extraordinary views of the mountain. A compact house situated amongst the trees in a pecan nut orchard. This stylish unit is on the Melody Hill Retreat property - Yoga classes and kahuna massages can be arranged on arrival. Feel free to walk in the pecan nut orchard or to walk through the labyrinth. You're bound to spot monkeys, bush babies, squirrels, porcupines and lots of hornbills during your stay.
