Just returned from yet another stay at The Glade, it never fails to be amazing. My son has spent his past 2 birthdays here with me and explains that it is his favourite place. We love the hammock, woods, quiet, solitude and my sons favourite thing is waking up to the birds singing. This place is truly a haven! Remember to take your binoculars as there are an abundance of birds to see. I noticed this stay that there is a nesting pair of Nuthatches nesting in the tree directly in front of the kitchen window. Spent lots of time watching those go in and out and tidy their nest. The Glade is equipped with everything you need and Juliet is on hand if you need anything else. Lovely place and I cannot say enough good things about it. We will be back again soon. Liane, Roo and Peggy-sue.

Very cosy secluded shepherds hut with a stunning view over the valley. The hot tub takes a few hours to warm up which is to be expected, but once warm it's absolutely perfect to relax in for the evening. While small, the shepards hut has everything you need for a quiet weekend away and the bed is warm and comfortable. Local towns are a twenty minute drive away so close enough to find somewhere for food or supplies, but you're in the sticks enough that we didn't see anyone other than the farmer on the other side of the valley.

Amazingly beautiful location, it felt so peaceful! The accommodation was perfect, they have clearly put a lot of thought into what you'll need and how you'll use the place. The alpacas are fabulous! They are so fun to feed! Thank you so much for an awesome stay x

Beautiful in so many ways!! The views are outstanding and location is so peaceful. Lovely outside space with all you may need. Watching the outside countryside while in the hot tub was stunning. The hut had all you needed with the finishing touches. Well equipped kitchen and the bed was very comfy. Supermarket only 5 minutes drive and lovely local pubs. We weren’t greeted with the weather but still a lovely place to set the fire and enjoy the views, Highly recommend! Will definetly be returning! ❤️

An ideally located cabin with beautiful surroundings it was so peaceful and tranquil we couldn't of asked for any more the cabin was spotlessly clean and very well equipped just sitting in the hot tub with a drink watching the sun set was amazing we will definatly be going back

Me and my partner had a lovely time staying in the shepherds hut, very clean and a very peaceful place! I would like to thank Alan for the help with the hot tub as we never used one of these before and sorting the shower as we had one problem but Alan was very helpful and came to help very quickly. Kate was a lovely host very quick to reply to any message if we needed help, as we arrived at the destination in the hut was left an Easter egg for us which was a lovely surprise! Overall very lovely place to stay if looking to go away for some alone time for peace and quiet. The Pub was around 5/10 minute walk.

A great place to stay and explore Dartmoor. The views from the hut are amazing and the hut itself is a fun experience. Simon is a delightful host and always quick to help out - Thanks for a fantastic stay!

We had such a lovely stay at the hut. The place was clean and tidy. It’s such a great location and so quiet. We would definitely stay again next time we’re in the area. Georgina was such a lovely host, always very responsive to questions we had. Would definitely recommend staying.

Amelia's Shepherd Hut was a perfect home for our stay in Minions. It was very private and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The kitchen provided everything needed to cook up, eat and clean up after all our meals. The little wood stove in the corner and thevprovided wood gave fast heat on cold mornings. The bed was very comfortable and there was a table big enough for everything we needed a table for. There was also a map of the Bodmin Moor provided which was very helpful when we walked out on the moor looking for the many interesting nearby ancient sites such as standing stones and natural stone formations. Fascinating! It was lambing time on Amelia's farm when we were there and we were very entertained by the antics of the new lambs as they explored their world. All in all, a wonderful stay.

Great little space for a weekend away - secluded and quiet, we really enjoyed the wood fired hot tub in which we spent the evening looking up at the stars! The local recommendations were great too - went for a pie at a local pub which was brilliant. The surroundings of the field and farm animals + plenty of wildlife made it a very peaceful stay. The cabin itself is well equipped and the how-to guides for everything are very clear. Lovely touch of a prosecco bottle to arrive to as well. Rebecca was a great host and offered plenty of suggestions for things to do in her written guide. The location is very convenient for the Jurassic coast by car. Would definitely come back again!

We had a lovely couple of nights in the hut. Matthew has thoughtfully provided all you need for a stay in the peaceful countryside including very welcome biscuits! The simple to use stove kept us toasty in the evenings and the clever re-purposed metal bread bin made an ingenious fridge for the milk kindly provided. Waking to the sound of skylarks and wrens was the perfect way to start the day before exploring the local area. The Pickwick Inn is just a gentle 5min stroll along the road, serves good food and the staff and locals were very welcoming. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Oystershack 5min drive down the road away from the village. We highly recommend a stay and look forward to returning so we can use the firepit as it was unseasonably windy!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Airbnb, and I can confidently say it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The shepherds hut itself is beautifully maintained, clean, and perfectly suited for a short stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always on hand to assist with any queries or provide recommendations for the local area. Their warmth and hospitality made the experience all the more enjoyable. One of the highlights for me was the hot tub – absolutely fabulous! It was clean, well-maintained, and the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. In terms of value for money, this place is hard to beat. It offers everything you could want for a relaxing getaway at an affordable price. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. Thank you for a wonderful stay – I’ll definitely be back!

Eine der tollsten Unterkünfte. Wunderbar gelegen an der Jurassic Coast, ruhig und mit direktem Blick aufs Meer. Schön eingerichtet mit allem, was man braucht. Die Kinder liebten den Pool, das Trampolin, die Playstation und die Fasane, die uns täglich besucht haben. Über den Coast Path erreicht man in wenigen Minuten Lyme Regis, sodass wir das Auto gar nie brauchten. Wir kommen gern wieder.

We had a lovely, short break at Tressa. The hut was lovely and cosy with everything we needed and was in a great location, close to the beaches and a short drive to Padstow. Andrea and Tom were very welcoming and helpful and we hope to return for another stay before long.

100% recommend staying here. The pictures are exactly what it’s like in person and more! The attention to detail was amazing, everything you need for your stay is there. They even had hot chocolate and marshmallows for a cosy night around the fire-pit. Communication with the host was very formative, clear and in timely manner. We would definitely return as it is the perfect relaxing getaway but also walks/restaurants close. Thankyou so much!

This cabin was an absolute delight and we loved staying there. It's tucked away in a location that feels totally private and secluded, despite being easily accessible once you've found it. The hut itself is cosy and small, but beautifully built, spotlessly clean and very cleverly designed to maximise the space. I stayed with my two children and it fitted us perfectly with them in the double bed and me on the futon. Even with torrential rain on one day, the large veranda with its table and rocking chairs expands the space and we never felt the slightest bit cooped up. The hut is off-grid but doesn't lack any amenities or home comforts, and the storage is particularly cleverly designed so that even with 3 peoples' worth of camping gear from the previous few days spent on Dartmoor, we were able to tuck everything away out of sight and keep it all feeling tidy and cosy. Beautiful forests all around, a fire pit and a stream just nearby. We loved it and are already planning to return.

The location of the hideaway was stunning, very private and overall very relaxing. Check in instructions were clear, directions were clear. The hut itself was very clean and had all the appliances that we needed. When we arrived the Hot tub was already filled and heated with clear intrusions on how to use. This little getaway was exactly what we needed to decompress and relax in the country side. Surrounded by birds, wild life and various animals. Jeni was very helpful, quick and responding, welcoming and friendly. Overall a fan experience, would definitely recommend and come back again.

We had a lovely peaceful stay at Danielle’s Shepherds Hut. Fowey is a beautiful harbour town with yummy food and gorgeous views. We especially recommend the Fowey Seafari!!
