Jennifer and Tommy were amazing host, arranged pick up at airport, greeted us when we arrived and provided numerous helpful suggestions. Loved sitting on the porch drinking our morning coffee watching macaws and hummingbirds forage in nearby trees. Snorkeled every morning at turtle bay saw many species of fish, rays, lobsters. Loved taking the water taxi to West bay and West end. Highly recommend the fire show at Bannarama on Sunday it was amazing. So many great restaurants to choose from. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Thank you again Jennifer and Tommy, looking forward to returning again someday.

Husky Hideaway Apartments are a wonderful place to stay!! Caroline was extremely helpful before and during our stay with helping us organize activities and a driver. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and it was a GREAT location; close enough to walk into town for diving, shopping, and restaurants, but just far enough away that it was very quiet from the “main strip” hustle. We would definitely stay here again! We are not “resort people” and this was perfect and homey and allowed us to really have a comfortable place to come home to after diving and exploring!

The home is even more stunning in person than in the photos. The master bedroom is spacious and gorgeous, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The downstairs bedrooms are a bit darker, but our kids didn’t mind at all—they absolutely loved their space. One of the highlights of our trip was being able to snorkel right off the front of the house, which was an amazing experience. We also booked a snorkeling trip with Joe, who picked us up right from the house by boat and took us to swim with nurse sharks—an unforgettable adventure! The road leading to the house is unpaved, but we had no trouble getting there in a small SUV—just take it slow. The airport is about 30 minutes away, and Eldon’s grocery store is a convenient 15-minute drive. Dave, the property manager, was always nearby and super helpful whenever we needed anything.

Me and my family really enjoyed staying at this exotic, tropical, fun, and beautiful place. The backyard was the ocean, and it was a really nice place to kayak/standup paddle board which they provided. Also in the backyard there is lots of shells and snorkeling opportunities. The rooms have really nice beds and bathrooms and had a homey feeling. The kitchen was really big and fully loaded with every kitchen supply you need. Me and my family would love to stay here again!

We chose this listing because we wanted a place away from the more tourist traveled areas; a quiet, secluded area on the ocean; to experience the environment and culture of the local population. The listing met all of those expectations. We rented all 3 units for our family of 5. I would recommend at least a small SUV to get around. Units are clean and give a great beach vibe. Kitchens have the basics. Grounds look out over the gorgeous ocean and pool is perfect size. Lots of outdoor seating. One thing to realize about Roatan - most places like this have cisterns for water so you can’t live like you have endless supply. Be conservative. We ran out but they were quick to refill it for us, despite it being dinner time. Location is great for exploring all areas of the island, Stephanie and Pat are great resources for local day trips/things to do. Snorkeling is great right off the dock and the few neighbors are friendly. Very safe area, I ran the road to the house several times alone.

This place is the perfect place to understand the local vibe of Roatan.Walk to the boat taxis ..good mix of local and expats in the neighborhood.Provided bicycles if you don’t have a car to get to all amenities within 2 km .We loved the dog that protects the property also .Hes a beautiful boy.Elwin is a very sweet man aiming to please his guests .A local Gem

Another review said the vibe was better in person and they were 100% correct! The vibes are great The house is really well kept and functional. AC kept the bedroom nice and cool for sleeping. I found opening the porch doors and living room windows with the fans on kept that area at a reasonable temperature. Housekeeping was done every day and lots of towels were provided (no beach towels though). They have shampoo, conditioner, body soap and lotion in the bathroom. The porch was EVERYTHING! I laid in the hammock every night and read. The breeze out there was lovely. One day it stormed all day and it was nice to lay in the hammock reading and listening to the sound of the storm. The location is right in the middle of west end and yet the bedroom is quiet! I always travel with earplugs, in case, but only one night I could slightly hear some bass from a near by club, and even then I didn’t need my ear plugs. The also arranged an airport transfer for $30 each way.

Our stay at this house was simply spectacular. The architecture is stunning, with spacious and comfortable areas perfect for resting and relaxing. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos. A true highlight was the breathtaking ocean view and the privilege of snorkeling right in front of the house—an unforgettable experience. We also want to highlight Giuseppe’s attention and kindness. He was always cheerful, helpful, and extremely responsive to all our questions. He made sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. Without a doubt, it was a wonderful experience that we would love to repeat.

We had such a nice stay at Salome's place in Palmetto Bay. The pool was fantastic for our family of 5 adults and two small children. The house was even larger than we expected and had a very well-stocked kitchen where we made many meals. Salome was very helpful with recommendations, including for some babysitting. Palmetto Bay is quiet and peaceful. We did lots of swimming off of the dock and some snorkeling on the east end of the bay. We would absolutely stay again.

Very nice place- Short walk to the beach There is a lady that is there to help with the cleaning but unless you tell her to come inside and do some light cleaning, she will sit outside and wait. This was a bit odd but everything else was great.

We love the house so much, in a very peaceful and safe neighborhood, it is so clean, beautiful and spacious, plenty of towels, the only thing is the dryer doesn't work, I texted the host, she sent someone to check it, then no more response after that. We had to hang all the towels and clothes everywhere like a laundry room.

One of the most beautiful places I have stayed, the views were spectacular, the place its self is much better than staying in a 5 star hotel. We went there for diving and all of the main dive sites were walking distance. The communication with Bill and Ramona was amazing.

Great location on the island for peace and quiet. the place was great with everything you need. well kept and neat. palmetto bay is a great place with a dive shop, restaurant, pool. the only other place that is walkable is Roatan brewery which has both great beer and food. the cove restaurant on site also has great food. you won't go hungry between the two. you'll need a car if you want to explore the island or have Stephanie recommend a driver. there are excursions available and you join a dive and snorkel. already planning the next trip!

We absolutely adored this house and Palmetto Bay. We went with our two teen girls and felt safe and at home here. The view from the house is incredible and the whole gated community allows for great walks through beautifully maintained nature. There are no complaints at all. The house was clean, well stocked with towels and everything you needed in the kitchen. Carolina was very responsive and answered all questions promptly The community , neighbors and staff were lovely. I would recommend this jewel of a place to any family looking for a getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Grazia. It was one of the most beautiful locations I have been too. The 3 level deck on the ocean was amazing. Sitting in the hammock every morning was a dream. The space was clean, great air conditioning, 2 full bathrooms, ocean breeze. Check in and check out was flawless. Host set up taxis for us both too and from the airport. We Highly recommend staying here and would love to come back.

This house was AMAZING!! The perfect quiet location, incredibly clean, and felt very safe. The house was well stocked with all the amenities, had excellent AC and was meticulously maintained, we would absolutely stay again!

This place was clean and walking distance from the beach, restaurants, and mini market. Apart from a excellent property, the host was accomodating and very responsive. During our stay we experienced "Hurricane Sara", this property kept my family safe! I love it here. I'm definitely coming back!

Our stay at Casa Caribe was great! The view is absolutely breathtaking. 180°+ view of the ocean. It is truly indescribable. the grounds are beautifully done and well-tended with tons of tropical plants and flowers. It was super easy to kayak out to the mangroves and to the reef for snorkeling which was a wonderful experience! The hospitality is top notch too. Chris was super communicative and gave wonderful suggestions for places to visit. He even made reservations for us to make it easier. Banuel is the caretaker and he is so wonderful. He is there for absolutely anything you need at all and he is truly happy to serve guests. He also has great knowledge of the island and tells great stories! They truly take all the stress out of the vacation by having everything you could want or need. And they are willing to get for you anything they may not have. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It was beautiful, restful, relaxing, and fun! If you are going to Roatan, this is the place to stay!

We stayed there for 4 months. The location is safe, comfortable and set for longer stays. It met and exceeded our expectations. The bedding was comfortable and all rooms have fans +screened windows for natural ventilation. The kitchen is well equipped with a rice cooker, coffee maker, air fryer, blender, good cutting knives and more. The wifi is strong and reliable. Bonus the entire compound is solar with water catchment. It was like “tree top living” amongst tropical plants and singing birds. In this setting there is a lovely pool/spa to sooth your muscles a favorite. Our hostess, Ms.Liz is friendly, knowledgeable and happy to share with her guests. The location is a little off the beaten path but if you want to experience nature it is perfect. From the casita you can walk to the “Roatan Farmer’s or to Politilly Bight and for the more intrepid explorer you can also reach Punta Gorda on foot by a dirt road along the ocean. We recommend the place and would rent there again

We absolutely loved this condo. It was far enough from the hustle and bustle to have a nice quiet day at the beach but also close to everything. We walked to Las Rocas for happy hour next door and ate dinner there many nights. Connie, the property manager, was very helpful. She booked our airport transportation and excursion transportation for us as well. Definitely wear bug spray. We used the bug bands and had minimal issues. The beach was beautiful. I would recommend a glass bottom boat tour with snorkeling from Franklin with Roatan Coral Reef. We saw turtles, sting rays, jelly fish, and more.

From our first communication, I was very pleased with the level of communication. Vanessa (property manager) was the main POC once the booking was confirmed and was amazing. The proximity to the dive centre 200ft was amazing and made it super easy. Vanessa brought over her own coffee grinder to support us and helped book our excursions and rides. The location is amazing as we were on the reef and could swim out to see an abundance of fish and undersea creatures!!! There are fins, floaters and kayaks to use as well. The house was very large with every amenity, pot and pan you need.

Super séjour, tout était parfait! Nous avons adoré la maison, c'était très propre à notre arrivé, bien aménager, matelats très comfortable avec tout ce dont nous pouvions avoir de besoin. Nous avons pu faire du snorkel, du kayak et du paddleboard direcement dans la baie en face de la maison, en plus de profiter de la piscine et des superbes couchés du soleil. Seul point négatif, la route est une peu accidentée comme à plusieurs endroits au Roatan. Un VUS est fortement conseillé si vous louez une voiture et voulez visiter l'est de l'ile... Le trajet avec notre sous compact n'était pas toujours facile. Jeff & Karen ont été super acceuillants. Avant notre arrivé ils nous ont envoyé beaucoup d'information utiles sur les environs, mais aussi pour facilité notre arrivé au Roatan!
