We’ve just got back from a lovely, relaxing weekend away. We enjoyed it so much we tried to add an extra day, we did not want to leave! The little house was spotless and had everything you needed! The private hot tubs were great, with amazing views. Being surrounded by the animals and the country side was so relaxing and we will definitely be back. Thank you!

We had a lovely peaceful night away to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Krystena was helpful and made sure we had what we needed. The hot tub was great as we enjoyed being outside under clear skies and being able to relax.

I can’t speak highly enough of the space and Emma, the host. Emma is extremely responsive with any queries whatsoever. She was so knowledgeable and helpful and the check in was seamless. When we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat but the pictures just don’t do it justice. The yurt is absolutely magical and Emma has thought of everything, anything you could possibly need is provided and the instruction booklet is clear and thorough so you know how everything works. We slept like kittens in the very comfy bed and it is so unbelievably cosy and relaxing, we didn’t stop smiling the whole time. Thoroughly recommend taking advantage of the hot tub and the pizza oven, Emma’s dough was delicious and the instructions to work the oven were very clear and helpful. We didn’t want to leave. The whole place is so magical with the fairy lights and going to sleep to the sound of owls was really lovely. We will 100% be back. Thank you so much, Emma ❤️❤️❤️

Another lovely stay at the lodge, with multi generational family having downstairs bedroom/ bathroom making this accessible. Enjoyed evening hot tubs and card games in the conservatory. Nice day out to Llangollen and shopping in Shrewsbury. Thanks

A fantastic weekend at Sorrel House, for a family get together. There was plenty of space for us to be together whilst also doing different activities. A great selection of games and jigsaws, we all loved the pool table, ping pong and hot tub. It was all lovely and clean and tidy and Kevin looked after us very well when needed, which was only once or twice. We had a great boat trip on the river in Shrewsbury and enjoyed a walk in the woods to Clive. Thank you we all had a fab weekend.

We chose this location to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and had a lovely time. The directions provided was clear and easy to follow, making our arrival smooth and stress-free. The setting was peaceful and scenic, with quiet surroundings that made for a relaxing stay. The cabin was just what we needed—clean, private, and comfortable. Being in the woods gave us the chance to enjoy some birdwatching and listen to their delightful songs each morning, which was a nice change from city life. Also the nearby areas offered plenty of charming spots to explore. It was a truly wonderful experience.

A truly wonderful and peaceful stay. The amenities were excellent—everything you could need to feel right at home. It’s the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle, with acres of open land for long strolls and scenic walks up the hill. There were plenty of board games to keep both kids and adults entertained throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing escape. Pam was a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and very responsive.

A wonderful spacious place, full of light and very comfortable, we had a small family gathering and it was perfect, thoroughly recomended.

The Dinney is lovey and the drake cottage is nice to stay in. The place has a welcoming driveway and cows to say hello to. The views all around are great. the washing machine was handy and everything was clean. the back garden is handy for small children to play in and for them to pop in and out and it feels secure.

I had a wonderful stay! The host was absolutely amazing, warm, responsive, and professional. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a classy, welcoming feel. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish place.

Karl was a great host and responded very quickly. He was waiting to meet us when we arrived, very welcoming and showed us around and how everything worked. House was great and surprisingly big, much more spacious than the pictures do it justice! Had everything inside that we needed and was very quiet and private. Garden is secure unless, like my dog, they're keen to jump fences!! Beds were super comfy and we got a great night sleep every night. Loads of walking nearby and a great base to explore the Elan Valley and local town, both of which are lovely. Thank you very much, we were sad to leave as we had a great time!

Lisa is a great host, very friendly and helpful. The flat is beautifully presented, spacious and comfortable. We loved having the garden to relax in and know that it was safe for our dog to run about in. Lisa provided us with an exceptional amount of food for our breakfasts, as well as extra cake and biscuits which we really appreciated, and useful basics like tea, coffee, sugar, milk and cooking oil. We were visiting family in Malvern and this was perfect for our needs.

The house was beautiful and very well located. Will definitely consider staying again but maybe in the spring/summer as we found the house a little cold in the evenings/overnight.

The accommodation was perfect for our large family with 3 generations staying with our 3 dogs . The area around the cottage was safe and secure for the toddlers and dogs alike . It is a Fantastic place to unwind . The cottage had everything you would need for a relaxing break . Great walks were had from the front door. The host Aled was very helpful from the off with a friendly welcome and a guided tour of the accommodation including use off the Hot tub . We will return I’m sure . Gary

This is a special cottage in a special location. We really enjoyed staying here; it was very peaceful and in a beautiful setting, perfect for getting away from it all. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and do different things. The games room and the cinema barn were a real bonus for our teenagers. The cosy sitting rooms were lovely in the evening to either watch T.V. or do jigsaw puzzles. There are lovely hills to climb with plenty of views. The dog was happy playing ball in the enclosed garden. A few cheeky sheep managed to squeeze their way into the garden from the field behind, but were soon barricaded out again! The beds were comfy and the cottage is so quiet and dark at night, we slept really well - good for star gazing. It isn't far to the sea by main road or over the mountains. We didn't want to leave - we'll definitely be back. Thanks so much!

Lovely spot for a big group of friends and their families. Great space for everyone, well equipped and in beautiful surroundings - we’d definitely come back!

Great few nights away for Halloween! Cosy barn tucked away, surrounded by trees and fields. Swimming in the heated pool at night in October was great. Geoff was always at hand with any queries or recommendations. The Halloween decorations was a nice touch for the kids to keep pranking each other throughout our stay. Great setting for a general chil out with films and board games. Hartlebury Castle was a great few hours out and not too expensive. The Willow and Boar was 2 minutes up the road for a nice breakfast. Would highly recommend The Pool house! Thanks to Geoff and Alan!

Wir waren für 5 Tage in Billys Unterkunft und es war einfach herrlich! Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht ist absolut großartig, das Gebäude mit der Ferienwohnung gehört zu einem tollen historischen Anwesen, das ist wirklich etwas besonderes. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Einrichtung passt sehr gut zum Ambiente des Gebäudes, bietet aber trotzdem allen Komfort, den man sich wünscht. Billy war super nett, flexibel und hilfsbereit. Das kleine Städtchen Llangollen ist mit dem Auto in 5min erreichbar und ist wirklich super hübsch. Wir empfehlen auf alle Fälle einen Ausflug zum Pontcysyllte-Aquädukt. Wir haben uns dort Kanus ausgeliehen und sind drüber gepaddelt. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend!

Lovely, well kept and spacious. Beautiful views and peaceful location with lovely hot tub ready to enjoy straight away. Sara was very responsive when we needed a few extra things for the kitchen. Overall a great find

Woodpecker Cottage is a wonderful place to stay, comfortable, well-equipped, and full of charm. Gyles is a fantastic host; welcoming, thoughtful, and always happy to go the extra mile to ensure you feel at home. The log burner was a real treat and made our stay even more special. Thank you, Gyles!

We absolutely loved staying in the 'fairy cottage' as our children called it. It was a magical place which exceeded expectations. We used the cottage as a base to go walking in the mountains (about 30mins to Snowdon) and there were beautiful walks directly from the house into the local countryside. We will definitely be back! thank you for a wonderful stay

First time in Wales and the whole family was impressed, beautifully located with the perfect surroundings and lots to do. It felt like we were abroad. We had lots of family activities and bonding time, no phone signal but very good WiFi.

Amy and the team were amazing from the start of the holiday to the end of the holiday. The cottage was well equipped with everything you needed. When we arrived and opened the door of the cottage it was lovely and warm it felt like home, the beautiful scenery when looking out of the windows was amazing,the heated pool was definitely a bonus. 10/10 Thankyou 😃
