Well appointed and clean room with ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, couch and desk. A very comfortable stay, with a private entrance and garden area. The hosts David and Kerry are amazing, they made me feel right at home from the small treats and welcome goodies they left in the room, to showing me the local sites, public transport routes, walking trails and restaurants.

Beautiful house with amazing views. Clean and tidy. Well organized with all facilities. Enjoyed staying here. Simon is very friendly host and communication is easy. Highly recommend this place.

Thank you Tania. Absolutely perfect for my daughter and I. We are country lovers so this couldn’t have been better for us. Loved looking at the horses out the window / door. Loved the sounds of the birds in the evening and the morning. I got a little confused finding the cottage at first as I went up the left driveway to the main house, not the right driveway. But was able to get hold of Tania promptly and she was able to redirect me. This is a beautiful rustic type cottage with the space really well thought out. I didn’t mind the kitchenette in the bathroom. Obviously as long as you keep everything sanitary as you use it it’s not an issue. Kind of the same situation if you were to stay in a caravan everything is close together amenities wise. Was nice and warm and super cosy. Would absolutely stay here again. Thanks so much for your kind, friendly and inviting hospitality.

What an amazing place, with a view even more stunning than it appears in the photo! Everyday I felt compelled to take a photo of the constantly changing scene laid out in a 180 degree panorama. Benoit was a very thoughtful and responsive host, and it was everything my family (two adults, two kids) needed for our visit to Wellington. It is a very comfortable and beautiful house, and a handy location including shops a few minutes drive away and a great cafe a few minutes walk down the path. Although looks a bit out of town on the map, it is a short and easy drive into the city. Oscar the cat was soon part of the family and our son was very sad to say goodbye!

From a host perspective, Huong was very responsive, flexible and accommodating to our needs. We had a group of 10 staying at this location and it was unique and allowed us to stay together for a family wedding. In general, the place was as described. There were a handful of maintenance and cleaning items that could have been improved, but these did not distract from our stay at all. We had a large group and the garbage/recycling was a bit of a challenge without a vehicle the first few days, but we managed that too. The home is distinct and one of a kind, with rich history. The long drive was a great test for us and Uber drivers alike!! The grounds provide its own opportunity to explore and do some hiking and such. The views are incredible. I appreciate the opportunity to stay here. I understand the property remains for sale and look forward to see how this unfolds.

Great house in a beautiful location. Excellent amenities, beautiful design, perfect for travelling with pups. A few notes: - The # of steps up to the unit might be underestimated by a factor of ~5. Not recommended unless you're reasonably fit. - The bedroom doors don't latch. There are hook-style locks provided....on the outside of the door. Not a huge deal, just means you need to shove something under the door if you want to keep the dogs from nosing their way in. - The water from the tap gets _really_ hot. This is great for some things (shaving) and less great for others (shower, dishwashing) Overall an excellent spot!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is super clean, modern, tidy and has new appliances and so on. It felt quiet and private and has a big back yard and off street parking. Our host were communicative and responsive, and check in was super easy.

Great little place to stay, we were fortunate with fantastic weather to really appreciate the views. Parking is tight, but we were in a big ute, not a little town car. Great place, nice and clean.

Lefki and Dave’s place was the perfect base in the perfect location. Everything was very thoughtfully put together which made the stay comfortable. All the little touches…plugs by the bed, generous bathroom sink, somewhere to hang clothes. They’ve thought about how people will use their little place. And both were delightfully friendly when I ran into them. Thank you to you both for a lovely stay.

A beautiful place to stay where we were surrounded by nature and enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing couple of days.

Rochelle’s place is co close to the beach which was wonderful for us and our dog. Short walk to the local shops including great coffee at T bay cafe. Rochelle has thoughtfully anticipated guests needs, plenty of towels, toilet paper, toiletries, milk, coffee and the tastiest home made muesli! Very clear instructions re: your dog staying which we really appreciated. The secure fencing in the garden just made for a really relaxing time, travelling with our doggo. We’ll definitely be booking again!

We stayed for a week and absolutely loved our time here. It really felt like a home away from home. There was everything we needed and Kate was quick to respond to any questions. Loved all of the birdlife and the walks to cable car and botanical gardens. We will definitely stay again next time we visit Wellington.

Awesome big house in a convenient and lively central location. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and parks. Hosts are helpful and responsive. Only minor downside was parking was a bit difficult, we had to park a few blocks away. Otherwise a perfect stay. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at Trudi’s place over Christmas. We had everything we needed. Great to have the beach across the road with lots of amenities close by. Would love to stay again

Great apartment tucked away in the thick of it all — easy walking distance from Te Papa museum and the waterfront, easy Uber rides to Wētā Workshop and the airport, easy access to loads of restaurants and bars on Cuba Street. We had less than 48 hours in Wellington but this stylish place helped us make the most of it.

Lovely staying at Brenda’s cottage. Cosy and clean inside, close to the centre of town with the cable car and Botanic gardens just minutes away. Helpful guide inside the cottage with local recommendations. Brenda was very friendly and had everything set up for me to walk straight in given my arrival late in the evening! Check-in was seamless with keyless entry. The place was beautiful, private, and peaceful – just what we needed. Beds were incredibly comfortable and the large wardrobes were perfect for storing our things. A short 2-minute walk to Akarau Tangi Stadium, which was ideal for our trip. Close to the airport (10 mins), CBD (10-min Uber), and walking distance to supermarkets, cafes, and local shops. The washer and dryer were super handy. Host was pleasant and easy to communicate with. My wife, daughter, and I had a fantastic stay at the Airbnb in Khandallah. The place was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing visit. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet—such a nice spot to unwind. Sher was especially great with communication, always responsive and helpful, which made the whole experience even better.
