Petone Haven is a lovely house with a garden which gets sunshine until early evening. So close to the main street, it was very quiet. Close as well to the beach and shore. Lots of lovely restaurants, cafes, bars and shops nearby. The house was contemporary, clean, had extra towels and bedding: we had everything we needed. We will stay again as we loved it there!

Shelly’s place is a gem. I would give this place more than 5 stars! She went beyond my expections. Coffee, juice, water and a lot of items were provided. She even gave us souvenirs. This is really a great find. Near restaurants and other places of interest. I highly recommend Shelly’s place!

Absolutely beautiful place: well designed, spotless, and comfortable, with a stunning view over Wellington harbor. The funicular access adds a bit of magic to the experience. Lovely, simple breakfast left for us. The location is perfect—a short walk from Wellington’s central business district. Loved our stay here.

Great place to stay in Wellington, walkable to and from the centre if you don't mind some incline! Has everything you need if you're happy to eat out/order in :) as well as some great views and secure outside parking. Murray and Nina were helpful hosts whilst also making the stay feel like a private getaway!

Lovely stay at Kai’s. Great location, very easy to walk into the centre. Easy to find and the reception made it easy to check in and store bags. Cute little apartment!

We really enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing and the location as great. Perfect for that early morning walk and run. Very easy to get around with car. The place was very clean and quiet.

We really appreciated Alistair and Shelia's hospitality. They were the best hosts we have experienced with Airbnb rentals. The living accommodations were very comfortable and provided the space we needed to rest, do laundry, visit Wellington, and prepare for the next stage of our trip to South Island. We appreciated the closeness to bus and train routes into Wellington and to the Interislander Ferry to Picton.

The Te Aro area has a lively, safe vibe, is minutes walk away but doesn’t impact the tranquility of the property. City is walkable for those reasonably mobile, alternative bus are 150m away, although the approach from the main road is up a steep hill. The place itself is comfortable, cosy, characterful and had great provisions (fresh bread, fruit, homemade jams). Fiona/Ross were helpful and responsive through the stay. Zealandia (highly recommended) is 45 min walk/10 minute bus ride away.

Fantastic experience all around. The apartment was in a prime location. It was such a great size for 6 of us with plenty of spaces and areas to all catch up in. Plenty of beds, bathrooms. So comfortable. Funky and fun. Great inner city apartment vibe. Great kitchen. Super helpful and accommodating owner. This was a top notch experience. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Awesome location. It was easy to walk everywhere in the Central City. Great to have secure parking. Great views from the apartment and it was super sunny. Nice to have the full width sliding doors for when it got too hot. The pool, spa, sauna and gym were an added bonus.

This place has the Wellington Wow factor! Located high on the hillside in Seatoun, close enough to central Wellington but feels like a completely different world. A novel experience to access the property via cable car, which was magical on a warm, windless evening in the light of a full moon. (If it were raining, cold and windy it might have been less charming!). Great views over the harbour, even while showering! Comfy beds, and quiet and dark for sleeping. Spa a treat. Slight downside was the galley kitchen-cum-laundry, surprisingly adjoining the second bedroom. Fine for a couple of days. Andrew was a friendly host who provided helpful and clear information. Would recommend for a distinctly Wellington experience!

Stayed here for 4 nights as a solo traveler. The location is good for getting to the city centre either by bus from the road near the house or about 25 minutes walk steep hill then level walk most of the way. Feng is very helpful. There is a great view from the living room/dining room. The access to the property is down some fairly steep steps which have a hand rail at the side. Was very comfortable here and would stay again.
