Coastal bolt-hole on a working farm perched on the Hartland Peninsula. The small barn is situated in the farmhouse courtyard garden next to the main house. Enclosed garden and entrance gate. Rural, rustic, stylish and definitely romantic, this bijou 400 yr old converted granary oozes charm and comfort: Driftwood bed, fully equipped little kitchen, woodburner, rolltop bath with shower attachment (no standing shower cubicle), sofa, dining area, TV, selection of interesting games, includes all linen, towels, welcome goodies. Puffins Nest is situated within the walled garden of the main farmhouse and only 50 yards from the stunning south west coast path. Pubs, restaurants and a variety of shops and galleries within 3 miles. Cliff walk (45mins) to local pub. Paradise for surfers, walkers, cyclists, nature lovers and those enjoying unspoilt wild coastlines and deserted beaches. Nearest bus stop 3 miles (collection/transfer service available). You'll never forget your trip to Miss Trimble's Cottage! Miss Trimble's Cottage is named after the first ever resident, Elizabeth Trimble, who lived here in the 1850's. It's the wing of Dene Lodge, a beautiful Victorian "Gentleman's residence" in the heart of the parish of Morwenstow. Just a few minutes from the dramatic Coast Path it is fabulously placed for exploring this stunning area. Endless walks and gorgeous beaches are all very close, so dogs are welcome to join you on your holidays.

At our doorstep you will find the South West Coastal path leading you along stunning coastal views & ancient landmarks, as well as picturesque valleys, hills and woods away from the sea to enjoy hikes & cycle rides. The beautiful beaches of Sandymouth, Bude and Widemouth Bay are close attracting surfers all year around.

Situated privately within a working farm, relax on the spacious patio, secluded garden or in the luxury hot tub. Each bedroom has a spacious ensuite with stand alone bath and walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.

This quaint detached barn is full of character and peace (no WIFI). There is an open plan kitchen/living area with a cosy log burner ( logs available at £7 cash a net) and a slate topped breakfast bar. The property has solid oak flooring throughout except for slate in the bathroom so don’t forget your slippers! The kitchen includes an oven, hob, fridge-freezer, toaster, microwave and kettle. The stunning beach of Welcombe Mouth is within walking distance, starting from the public footpath at the bottom of the garden.
