This flat is relatively new with plenty of space for 4 of us. There are lots of cupboards inside to store away cases etc and plenty of kitchen space. The front of the flat has a small balcony facing E with sea views which was wonderful and very warm in the sunshine. This flat is also in a fantastic location. It is situated above a shop at the end of the high street and just above the seafront gardens in Felixstowe. At the time of our visit, the shop was empty which was a bonus. Depending on who takes on the rental below, the flat could become more noisy. We found that on Friday and Saturday evenings this spot was popular with young people hanging around and there was some noise well into the night but being higher up, it was not too bad with the windows closed. Access to the flat is via a small passageway around the back and up some open stairs to the back. This would be unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. Parking is not nearby, you need to be able to walk for 5-10mins to park.

I had a very peaceful and relaxing stay at Michael's pristine bungalow. It is finished with all modern fittings and had everything that I needed. I found Michael was very helpful when responding to a query I had. As has been said before, the surrounding area is in need of some upkeep however don't let this put you off. The house is modern and comfortable and it's only about 50 metres from the seafront. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing break.

Ons jaarlijkse trip naar Engeland bracht ons dit jaar bij toeval twee nachten in Orford. Wat een positieve verrassing! Zowel het huisje als het dorp overtroffen onze verwachtingen. Het dorp heeft een heerlijk “rustige kustplaats vibe” zonder massatoerisme. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en de gastheer is pro actief met het verstrekken van informatie. Echt een aanrader.

My family and I had an amazing time away thanks to Rachael. She was an amazing host, very communicative and even allowed us to have a late check out as there wasn’t anyone staying on the day we were leaving. Highly highly recommend Rachael and this home!

The bakehouse was a great, we had wonderful time the house have everything that you need to feel comfortable and everything it’s 5 min less walking distance. Great place and host . Definitely recommendable

The place was absolutely beautiful. It was so cozy and perfect for a weekend get away. The hot tub overlooked the beach and the sunset made it feel like you were abroad. The inside was equipped with everything you could need for your stay including complimentary touches from the host. Antonia was so helpful and polite. Would definitely stay again thank you for having us.

Visited for a wedding nearby, great stay and Melanie was flexible with check in times.
