Wedmore village with 3 pubs, deli, Indian, cafe and shops is only 1.3 miles away. Cheddar Gorge/Mendip Hills are a short drive, Wells, Glastonbury, Bristol too. Ian's Cottage has been lovingly renovated and converted from a small barn into a beautiful little holiday cottage set in its own garden with breathtaking views across the fields to the Mendip Hills - not a road in sight! Although it is small we believe it has all the comforts that are essential for a relaxing break. As we’re in a lovely countryside setting, you may spot some of our little neighbours such as spiders, ladybirds, or other harmless insects who also enjoy the peace and quiet here.

Daphne our shepherds hut

Daphne our shepherd's hut is nestled in our paddock and meadow on the Somerset levels and has lovely views over neighbouring fields. It is close but not too close to our other hut Doris and our annexe room Huberts. We are keen to encourage flora and fauna and manage the paddock accordingly. We are situated on the outskirts of a small village and the edge of the Somerset levels. We are ideally situated for sightseeing around Somerset. Doris our other hut is also in the paddock.
