Very nice place tucked in the red rocks. Very quiet and peaceful and a beautiful view of the night sky. Very dark and full of stars, the place is aptly named. The lodging is spacious and comfortable with everything you need to settle in an enjoy the quiet and beauty of nature. About ten minutes from town and easy to get there, though a bit bumpy as the road from the house to town is not paved. Only another 10 minutes from town to Capitol Reef national park and the whole surrounding area is beautiful.

our first visit to Utah and this home was great for us, we were only 2 adults and 2 kids so lots of extra room and very comfortable living area. We are rarely happy with lighting at the houses we stay at but this was great with lots of dimmers and table lamps. the Kitchen was good although we did not use it for much other then breakfast and sometimes lunch. The beds were comfortable but two in the group could not find a pillow they really liked but we are pillow snobs as well. the outside space was good but we were gone exploring most of the time we would have liked to use it. overall we really liked it and would stay again!

Mary was wonderful to work with, and her home is gorgeous, comfortable, well-appointed, and well-organized! The home is a convenient distance from Capitol Reef.

Loved the house, and the desert was so peaceful

My family felt so fortunate to spend our weekend at Sheri’s place. It was beautiful, comfortable and perfectly situated for our needs. I felt so confident in Sheri’s communication that if we had unforeseen complications we would get them sorted but we had no occasion. Time spent with my family is priceless and this time we spent at Sheri’s was so memorable.

Wir haben uns in der Tin Cabin sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig (wir empfanden es noch größer als auf den Fotos), ansprechend eingerichtet, alles Wichtige für Küche und Bad ist vorhanden. Das Haus war sehr sauber und gepflegt und der Kontakt mit Matthew unkompliziert und er war jederzeit erreichbar und hat sich ebenso nach uns erkundigt. Sehr gute Lage zum Capitol Reef NP und den Grand Stairs Escalante. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen, danke Matthew!

Our family of four loved spending two nights in this home at Torrey. The hot tub was a bonus and we enjoyed star gazing and the close location to Capitol Reef park. All the amenities were fabulous and it exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend it- we will be back!

We were a rather large group of eleven that also rented the attached apartment. Most everything was functional as intended. We had a few issues with the electronic door lock which the host addressed promptly. The only thing to complain about is that the TV is rather small for the large living room that it is in. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would rent this listing again.

This was a great place for us while we visited Capitol Reef. Amazing views through the huge windows. Very clean and functional. We had a bit of difficulty getting up the steep loose gravel driveway without 4 wheel drive. But finally figured it out-go up the left side clockwise and then pull in to the drive in front of garage. Also, we loved visiting the park! We did 2 hikes-Hickman Bridge and Cassidy Arch. Both were great.

Super clean and spacious, great communication, and flexibility with check-in and check-out. It was a good spot to visit both Pando Aspen grove and Capitol Reef.

Nadalee and Michael’s place was very cozy and clean, the perfect place to rest between national Parks and get some laundry done. Beds were comfy and it was conveniently located. If we’re in the area again we’ll be back! ☺️

Convenient for Capitol Reef and with all the facilities you need. Second time staying here and would stay again.

A nice quiet cozy place with helpful and friendly hosts and close to restaurants. A kitchen that has what you need to cook in if you don't eat out.

Chanelle and John are very hospitable and provided local information for us. We also had good chat, and their unit is clean and nice. Check in and check out were very easy. We will definitely book their unit next time when we visit around Capital reef national park area.

This was a great place to stay for two days while we visited capitol reef NP! While this was a basement apartment, we had all the privacy we needed and had our own outdoor space too. We had an issue with the shower (our fault)- that we had to reach out to Jan about. She was very quick to respond and help us fix the problem! Would recommend anyone stay here for a great home base visiting the NP.
