The Waterfall Casita: A-frame with 30ft Waterfall

Nestled among Hemlock trees & steps from a 30 ft waterfall is our cozy A-frame cabin. Sitting on 33 private acres connected to state land, enjoy waterfall views while sipping coffee in front of the fireplace. The casita was intentionally designed to feel like a home away from home. In summer, cool off in the waterfalls & private streams, in autumn take in the stunning foliage & in winter ski/snowboard at Belleayre (25 mins away). Alder Lake & the Pepacton Reservoir fishing are a 10 min drive.

It’s an architect-designed marvel of concrete, glass and reclaimed wood that sits on 135 acres of field and forest with a lovely swimming pond and miles of hiking trails. The cabin sleeps up to 6 people in two bedrooms and a spacious sleeping loft.

Welcome! Just two hours from Manhattan, our home is the perfect Catskills getaway. Tucked into the woods at the base of Minnewaska state park, our home is quiet, clean and full of light. The house is surrounded by green and nature, but close to cute towns for shopping and dining and of course all the area has to offer with hikes and outdoor activities. Or stay in and lounge on the deck, listen to some records, watch a movie, and relax. It's everything you need for a dream vacation.

Shawangunk House

The house was built in 2018. It is very modern and open. It is located 8 minutes from Minnewaska State Park, 10 minutes from the Mohonk Preserve, and 30 minutes from the Catskills. There is a Smart TV. There is also a record player with a large record selection. There is strong WIFI and great cell phone coverage from all carriers. We have an EV level 2 charger. There is an additional charge to use the charger. Please contact us if you want to add charging to your stay.

Retreat to a beautiful cabin and get lost on two wooded acres. Reconnect with nature in your own way - hike around nearby Lake Minnewaska, or another of the dozens of incredible trails in the area. Then cook a meal in our well-equipped kitchen or on the grill, and enjoy it on the patio overlooking the property.

The Cabin at Pleasant Valley Farm

The cabin is located on a dirt road on our farm with a beautiful pond and an amazing view! This off-grid, cabin has two queen beds (100% cotton sheets), a mini-kitchen with a battery-ignition gas range, solar powered refrigerator, solar lighting, a wood stove, an outdoor shower, a fire pit, and an old-fashioned outhouse. An expansive porch and dock provide comfortable outdoor living. A seasonal favorite, the cabin is available May-Oct.
