This was the perfect place for our weekend. The house was great and everything was very easy.

Our stay at Vivian's beautiful lake house was a long series of pleasant surprises. Where most airbnb's have the bare minimum of cooking supplies, her kitchen was fully stocked, with every appliance and spice you'd need for home cooking right at hand. The beds were comfortable, the sheets spotless, the bathrooms were pristine, and the whole house had a clean and welcoming feel that only comes from dedicated work. The lake equipment was extensive, and allowed us to make many treasured memories out on the water. And to top it all off, she left a platter of homemade chocolate chip cookies on the counter as a welcoming gift. We would happily stay here again, I can't emphasize enough how well kept this house is.

My family and I enjoyed our peaceful getaway at the lake house. The view was spectacular. The kids enjoyed playing ping pong, corn hole, and other activities.

Ryan’s place was clean, easy to find, and a wonderful, relaxing place. The hosts were friendly and gave suggestions for restaurants. We had a wonderful weekend getaway!

Great spot with a wonderful view. Good place for an extended stay.

The stay went very well. There are multiple options for fishing and places to launch a boat. I would definitely recommend this for a vacation for with all the activities to be had in the area. We encountered friendly people in the area and with shopping and restaurants close by it made our time there a memorable one.

Just what we needed! In: Natural light abounds! Rooms are ready to relax in. Layout is nice for if one person sleeps in later, another can be up earlier in farther sunroom. Incredibly well-stocked kitchen. A lot of thought and love is put into making sure guests have snacks and even a few extra special perks such as local gift cards. Very peaceful. Out: You're surrounded by beauty & wildlife. Nicely landscaped with many gorgeous plants including natives. I lazily birded from the hot tub. Songbirds galore including early warblers. Sandhill cranes call often. April nights host melodic frog choirs. Note: The cottage is close/visible to neighboring properties. Everyone keeps to themselves but if you have an eager to greet everyone labradoodle be advised there might be temptations. Lol. Judy is the most thoughtful host. We had a family crisis that impacted our trip. Judy was very kind/flexible with us arriving later than expected. At every step, the best. Thank you! We'll be back!

Lori and her husband Rick were fabulous, My friends and I absolutely loved them! We highly recommend this cute cottage by the lake. The house smelled amazing! No chemicals just a wonderful beautiful scent that made me smile. The warm fire roaring at night while drinking a cup of hot tea and the beautiful view of the lake was a wonderful way to start my healing journey. Everything is neat and labeled for you and she goes above and beyond to really make sure that you are happy. We had quite the snow storm while hunkered in and Rick cleared the walkway, drive way and stopped in to get our trash. They live right next door which was great incase we needed anything but still had complete privacy :) Location is great and you’re not far from stores, restaraunt, etc. I highly recommend, you will feel like you are visiting family.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful little cottage. I highly recommend it. Morning coffee on the patio can't be beat for the wildlife lover.

Debra was an absolutely amazing host. She was helpful and responsive as soon as I booked and throughout my stay. The house itself was clean and as described, and I felt right at home here. The lake was beautiful and I’d love to come back when it’s warmer out. I will definitely choose to stay here when I am in the area again!

We wanted a peaceful, relaxing and fun Fall getaway and that’s exactly what we got! The Cottage was everything we asked for- simple and cozy! The sunrise over the lake was gorgeous, coffee on deck started the days nicely and warm fires ended the nights!

The cottage was as described and very comfy! Loved the neighborhood and all the shops in town. I would definitely recommend staying at Amy’s place if you’re visiting the area!

This is a great place to stay, especially with the view of the lake. And very thoughtful hosts who really tried to think of everything you might want at a lake property. Would love to come back when the weather is better!!

My sister and I had a peaceful long weekend at Fish Tales. It was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. It was fun to take the kayaks out and just RELAX. The cottage was a short drive to the swim race location at Half Moon lake that we were visiting for. If you are looking for a peaceful spot with beautiful views this is for you,

Our stay was wonderful! I stayed at the cabin for the weekend with friends. We were competing in a horse show in the area and were gone most of the day but I wish we had more time to spend at the campground. The area was beautiful and peaceful by a lake. I would have loved to just spend the entire weekend there and hope to go back with family in the future. There was a lot to do with great amenities. You could go out on the lake with paddle boats or go hiking. The cabin that we stayed in was a good size for four people. We had a great time and would recommend.

The home is nestled in a beautiful forested area, surrounded by tall trees and the sound of birds in every direction — it felt like our own peaceful retreat in nature. The lake view was stunning, and we loved spending mornings sipping coffee on the porch while soaking it all in. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and very family-friendly, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Whether we were gathered around the firepit, cooking meals together, or just relaxing with a good book, it was the perfect place to unwind and reconnect. Our host was fantastic — incredibly responsive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Overall, a truly special spot for nature lovers and families looking for fun, relaxation, and beautiful scenery. We can’t wait to come back!

The cabin gave you a private, woodsy, middle of nowhere vibes without actually being in the middle of nowhere. Super close to amenities, restaurants and things to do. We did have to dispose of one spider but that made it feel all the more like you were actually in the woods.

This lake house is such a gem! Modern, bright, beautiful decor and quality amenities. Carrie is a warm and supportive host. She thought of everything to make us feel comfortable and right at home. Well-stocked kitchen had everything we needed and more! Attention to detail in each room. Every shop and restaurant we went to in the immediate area was a pleasure. Highly recommend this property and host!
