Comfort in the Trees, Sleeps 8, near PDX

Our home is light, cheerful, and nearly 2000 sq. ft. The large deck is perfect for barbecues and is nested in trees. The gas fireplace and TV in the family room make it cozy. The full kitchen boasts an island bar and a small kitchen table. Upstairs, the master bedroom includes a queen bed and spacious bathroom. The remaining two bedrooms each contain an antique double bed with a full bathroom in between. A comfortable queen hideabed is downstairs, as well as a half-bathroom.

The Farm Cottage

The Farmhouse Cottage is in a country setting yet in-town amenities are only a few minutes’ drive away. Enjoy the view of Mt. Hood. Relax on the patio, watch the sunrise or stargaze at night. Pick from the seasonal backyard garden, or take a few minute’s stroll down the lane to source farm-raised meats and eggs. This home offers all the charm of a cozy country cottage plus Wifi, Roku TV, comfy beds, a well-stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, a playhouse for the kids, and more!

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space with quick access to I-84. We are just 12 minutes to Gresham but have the feeling of being secluded. The unit has a private entrance in the back lower level of our home. It includes a separate BR, living area w/ gas fireplace, dining table w full kitchen. Our miniature donkey, llamas, chickens and a sheep have been relocated to our daughter's home due to our upcoming move. No Pets.

Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.
