Kids loved being able to jump right into the lake and parents loved that there were life jackets, kayaks, canoe, and a paddleboard available! House was decorated with unique items that were fun to look at and we very much appreciated the movies, board games, and blankets!

This was a beautiful property! Had extensive walking trails and a beautiful stream throughout. The firepit was very nice on a fall evening. Had added benefits like a pool table and gas fireplace. We’d stay again.

It was a nice place to spend the week visiting Milwaukee. The location was a little further from city center than anticipated but it was a very nice place to come back at the end of the day and relax in. Our family of 3 + dog were very comfortable.

I highly recommend staying at this house. We are a frequent user of Airbnb and found this house to be one of the best. It is great for larger number of people and great for entertaining and relaxing. We actually enjoyed watch deer roam the property. We kinda felt like we were in the Brady Bunch house - yes, I am dating myself here alittle bit.

We just wrapped up an absolutely delightful stay at this charming cottage on Little Cedar Lake. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The serene lake views, cozy interiors, and the tranquil atmosphere were everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The hosts had done a good job equipping the cottage with all the essentials and responded swiftly to messages. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat to reconnect with nature and unwind, this is the place to be.

Had an amazing time away in Slinger! Such a nice town and surrounding towns. The lake is gorgeous and the views from the house are amazing! Clearest lake I’ve ever seen in Wisconsin!

Our rental at Big Cedar Lake was wonderful. The rental is absolutely gorgeous, comfortable, homey. Lisa & John have decorated beautifully including beautiful furniture, wood work, interior design, comfortable bed, more amenities than we anticipated, and proactive/responsive hosts. On a scale of 1-10, my experience was a 12.

The red and blue ranch on the little lake in Slinger was a peaceful retreat that checked a lot of boxes. First, the house is adorable. Beautiful shared open great room so my family could be together while spreading out. Gorgeous sliding glass doors that open out to a sizable deck with plenty of seating all overlooking a scenic valley leading to a wonderful lake. The water was so clean my dogs didn't smell after swimming. Full of lilly pads and spring water fed lake you can kayak or paddle board around or relax on the splash pad. No noisey boats to compete with - my family loved everything about it. Janalee was a very accommodating host who responded to questions quickly. Her instructions were great. She was very laid back and had great recommendations for my family on where to eat or hang out while listening to live music. Fantastic host!! We hope to be back.

Cozy spot with lots of character and in a great location. Across the street from a nice park with great views, walkable to brewery and restaurants, short drive to downtown. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need. All around great place to stay while visiting Milwaukee!

I love the details David added to his home. I loved hanging out in it more than I wanted to go see sites because it was so comfortable and enjoyable. I forgot toothpaste and cotton swabs and he had it supplied. I loved sitting in the living room by the fire place heater and hanging with my family. I lived all his book nooks and unique furniture. David is very kind and accommodating. Loved the town of Port Washington with all of its charm and shops.

Lovely apartment with nice bed and bathroom linens. Plenty of space, comfortable furniture. Perfect location for shops & cafes, yet quiet. It was easy ti text hosts thru the app.

We have stayed here before and it is always a pleasure—like staying a real home, cozy and personable. The chocolate cookies are a treat after a long drive, and you can walk down the hill to the lake front in 5 minutes.

The place was in a central location for our visit – easy to get to Marquette, downtown and the third ward. The place was as described and was great for our family of five.

We loved our stay! Such a cute and cozy space! Next time we will be staying longer :) Vibed out to the vinyls with the fireplace turned on, such a great time.

We had a wonderful stay at Shannon’s cabin. It was very cozy. Nearest grocery store is 15 minutes away make sure to bring everything you need in. We loved sitting by the fire and making smores. Shannon was very responsive and friendly. We didn’t really need anything during our stay but it was nice to know that she was available anytime!

We had the most wonderful weekend getaway at The Bird House! True to its name, we were surrounded by the peaceful sounds and sights of birds all throughout our stay—it felt like we were tucked away in a hidden nature sanctuary. The interior design of the cabin was absolutely beautiful—thoughtfully curated, cozy, and stylish. Every little detail, from the warm lighting to the natural textures and modern-rustic decor, made the space feel both relaxing and luxurious. It was the perfect balance of comfort and charm. Our host was incredibly caring and attentive throughout the whole experience. From the moment we booked to the time we checked out, they made sure we had everything we needed and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We truly didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, peaceful setting with top-notch hospitality!

This cabin is by far my favorite stay from Airbnb. From the architectural details to the collections of antiques and nature specimens, this felt I was living in a Pinterest cottage for the weekend. As an interior designer I appreciated all the wood work, beams, and decorative tiles. The exterior is also breathtaking! Heavy mortared stone and wood siding with a brick path surrounding the house creates an English countryside vibe. With the home being tucked back into the woods we had ultimate privacy during our trip. CABIN ENVY! While there is no wifi and we had no cell reception, the game room was great for entertainment. There is a collection of board games, dvds, pool table, etc. We went to SoLu winery near by, grabbed bakery from 3 Sweets Cafe, hiked a near by trail, and visited the light house in Fon Du Lac. Lots to do in the area and the host gave us tons of recommendations! She was very responsive making our stay very easy going. This is a trip I would love to do again!

My niece & I had the most wonderful stay at this adorable cabin. Everything you need is provided to make this a home away from home. We really appreciated all the small touches throughout the house. Our names written on a chalkboard welcoming us. The bag of ice in the freezer next to a frozen pizza if we got hungry. They even have a little basket in the bathroom full of things to use if you forgot something. The kitchen is completely stocked w/flatware, p&p's, glasses, & condiments. The beds are suuuuper comfy with extra blankies if u get chilly. And the view of the lake from the kitchen & downstairs bedroom is fantastic. Oh and I saw a bald eagle fly across the lake while I was fishing off the dock!!!! Tammera & Brandon went above & beyond what we expected. They are lovely hosts & they helped make our trip truly memorable. I'll be back to go riding in the fall & I will be booking my stay here.

This location was perfect for our yearly family vacation. The space fit us all perfectly and was extremely comfortable! Julian and his family offered us many activities and places we can do and visit. Overall the place was perfect and enjoyable from our littlest to our oldest. Thank you for hosting us!
