We absolutely loved Don’s home! It was clean, homey, and had everything we needed. The additional stuff for our dog was amazing too! The backyard was fenced and big enough to throw baseball with my kiddo. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in Bristol!

Great place with a beautiful river view out back. Kitchen is stocked with every kind of utensil or pot you would need, including a blender. The kids loved the giant bean bag and lofted walkway.

This was the perfect house for a sister's getaway back home. It had everything we needed and we really enjoyed the back deck for drinking our morning coffee. It was very convenient to the Volunteer Parkway and Highway 11. We loved our time with family and will definitely be back. Thank you!

The house is in a very good location in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean with easy access to downtown Bristol and surrounding attractions. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Great stay. Beds were super comfortable, the location was great and the living room and kitchen table were a great place to hang out. We enjoyed having meals on the back deck, under the massive umbrella. One note about the kitchen… we did have to run out and buy a pan that could be cooked in because the provided pans were deeply scratched teflon and very worn. We had to run out a second time to buy disposable aluminum pans to make a casserole, as there wasn’t anything at all that could go in the oven. Those are minor but want to warn others to bring a couple of supplies with them if they will be cooking. Also, the road noise is LOUD. It didn’t really bother us, as we are a used to it but just be prepared, if you don’t like noise. All in all, we loved our stay and would definitely come back!

our stay at Grandma's Cottage was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the fenced in front yard for our fur babies. She responded quickly and was very helpful. A very good price for the location.

El sitio estuvo excelente para ir a descansar y desconectarse de la ciudad, relajarte en familia, la casa fue muy cómoda. Si tienes niños pequeños, disfrutaran mucho en el terreno que es bastante grande, puedes hacer parrilla y tienes varias atracciones cerca y adicional estas a 48 minutos de Boone. Melina tuvo una excelente asistencia en tiempo récord, una cuando no podíamos abrir la puerta, la llamamos y nos atendió al momento para abrir desde su locación y la otra fue con un breaker que se tripeo en panel, la respuesta fue inmediata. Realmente volveré a rentar el próximo año, Gracias Melina.

The cottage was a perfect place to stay for my wife’s trail race in Mendota. We enjoyed the cabin’s layout for staying with our youngster. The kitchen was well-equipped and while we didn’t get to use it, the deck looked like a great spot to sit and watch the sunset. It was super quiet—a perfect retreat.

We had an amazing experience at Jim's place. Very peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed chatting with Jim and his wife and they provided a lot of great information and were very flexible with our schedule. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Very interesting stay. Our 1st reservation canceled due to storms knocking out power and water. We found Mary's place that morning and she responded immediately to our request. Unfortunately, while on our drive to Abingdon, the power went out at Mary's also but still had water. We decided to stay and Mary bent over backwards to help make our stay enjoyable. Luckily, the power came back on for our 2nd night. I would not hesitate to stay again. Mary and her family are wonderful people. They are the reason we had such a nice experience during the aftermath of such a horrible storm.

Beautiful view !! Comfortable bed. Hot tub a big plus ! Jim was very helpful and had great recommendations for local hikes. I could literally see the snow moving in across the mountain. It was the perfect spot !

We had a girls trip of 9 who stayed in Bristol at Bethany’s amazing loft. The place was perfect! So much space for everyone. The open concept of the main living and kitchen areas was perfect. We especially loved the porch with several different sitting areas where individual groups could gather to chat. With 9 ladies, of course we used them all, lol. One other great feature for a large group is all the bathrooms. Even when we were all getting ready for the day, we had plenty of space to shower and get ready without feeling hurried. Thanks so much to Bethany who has thought if everything for a perfect stay. We all decided this is a place we would love to book again!

Laura’s place was exactly as described and pictured. Laura and her husband were responsive and friendly host. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. Beautiful surroundings near by 🙂

Great location on Main Street in Abingdon, you can walk to a number of cafes and restaurants as well as local shops! Quiet residential location! We would recommend this place to everyone! 5 stars all around. Thank you, Mike & Susan

David and Sharlene’s place was Fantastic. Incredibly clean, private, and so well thought out. It was everything you could ask for, we are planning to go back to the area next year and will definitely stay in the same place. We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in Damascus! Additionally, Stuart was really flexible with us, as we ended up needing to move our stay up a few days and she was able to accommodate us and was friendly and understanding. The cabin is cozy and beautiful with a rustic feel on the inside and is an easy walk to town. Damascus is a great central location for lots of hiking and we took advantage of all the surrounding trails.

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was squeaky clean, charmingly decorated, and comfortable. We had everything we needed, even wood for the fire pit and chairs to put by the fire. Our puppy also had a great time playing in the large meadow by the creek. We hope to come back soon.

This cabin is close to everything you need in Damascus, but we were so surprised with how private and secluded we felt! The cabins are tucked away off the main road, and there is a privacy tree buffer which adds to the woodsy feel. Although we had neighbors in the adjacent cabin, we could not see or hear them - the decks have great privacy screening. The back deck was by far our favorite place! It is incredibly spacious and we loved the 3 different seating options - swing, rocking chairs, or pub chairs & table. We walked down to the creek and had fun wading. It was wonderful to see and hear the creek and the cows from the deck. The screen door allowed us to sleep with the deck door open so we could hear the creek all night. It was heavenly! The cabin had everything we needed and was super clean. The jacuzzi tub was awesome after a day on the Creeper Trail. We were here two nights in September and had a perfect stay!

Even better than the photos! We spent most of our time on the patio with great seating, lovely view, hummingbirds visiting and in the fantastic hot tub! Our dogs LOVED the open grass to run in. The beds were comfy and cozy and the kitchen/bathroom were very well stocked.

It’s beautiful, peaceful & relaxing. They have everything you need for your stay. It’s quite unique and if you are looking for solitude, quiet or maybe rekindling your relationship, this is the place for you! One thing is for sure, you can get in lots of walking and we did enjoy the country drives. I do recommend bringing a fan for the upstairs bedroom. The spiral steps might not be for everyone but they add character to the place. Highly recommend!

There was a train that went through nightly, but was not terrible. Reminded me of my childhood... A very country sound. The house was cute, decorated in country chic. The stream was lovely. There were a couple decks and outside furniture to make for a lovely place to sit outside and watch the stream. 1 side shows roads. The back side is trees. The other side and front have trees and the stream. Nikki was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

What a fantastic place! It was perfect for us. Cozy fireplace (welcomed during our below freezing nights in April!), great beds, and a beautiful location! We will be back for sure! Thank you James for the great place and great communication!

WOW, all my wife and I can say is WOW! The views are 10x more breathtaking in person, pictures don’t do this place justice even tho the pictures on here are beautiful! My wife and I do trips once a month or every other month and we do A-LOT of Airbnb’s and this one is the best vacation we have ever been to! The A frame room was so peaceful and comfy. The pavilion was more than we expected! Thank you again Jessica for being an amazing host and making this an Airbnb for everyone to enjoy!!!!! PS our pup goes everywhere with us and when we got here the way he ran around smiling so big we already knew this was going to be an amazing experience 🙏✨
