We had a great stay! The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. He was accommodating and made sure all of our needs were met!

We always enjoy our time at Larry’s Place. Larry is always easy to communicate and quick to respond. The house is always very clean and orderly and we while we don’t always need them, we always appreciate the little extras in the kitchen like coffee, oatmeal, and granola bars for morning. My kids always love the space in the house and love running around on the property. We usually bring our own food for cooking, but there are definitely great restaurants to visit. We love the peace that the house and property provides and look forward to another stay.

Stayed here because it was central to 4 distilleries we wanted to visit. Very quiet and private! Close to a cute little town with a delicious pizza restaurant. The home was just as described, and we had a great stay! We were even able to Instacart some groceries, which was super convenient. The games downstairs were thoroughly enjoyed by the men!

Beautiful property; very peaceful. Kevin was very friendly and responsive when we had questions. We would stay here again if we were in the area. Our kids also give it high reviews :)

Scott & Paula’s place was perfect for our group. It was right in the middle of the bourbon trail, which made for easy access to some of the local stops. The house was exactly as described and had something for all of us - driving range, hot tub, basement gaming room - plus plenty of bedrooms for a group! You can tell they care about their guests and enjoy hosting. They had personal touches that made us feel right at home & we’re SO responsive to all of our questions and asks. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great stay near Louisville or the bourbon trail!

If you’re looking for peaceful country setting and close to Maker’s Mark Distillery this is your best option. We were absolutely pleased with Jill’s house. She provided everything we needed to have a great stay. The place was spotless and a beautifully remodeled old school house.

Johnathan was a fantastic host and was very responsive. The Brando was an amazing place and I hope to make it back!

I really liked the Airbnb. Was nice the host left us little snacks. Felt like we had all we needed and then some. Definitely would stay here again if in area

The space was very comfortable and so nicely decorated. We loved it! The host was really great about providing information and recommendations for the area. The place was very quiet. It was easy to get to everywhere downtown and to Centre College.

this is a very nice place in old house but very thoughtfully remodeled parking was easy all in all a nice stay!

We were doing a bourbon tour in Frankfort, but wanted to focus more of our time exploring Harrodsburg and Shaker Village, so Sharon's place was in the perfect location for a quiet retreat with our little dog. We haven't lived in the country for years, so it was wonderful to view the Pink Moon with a beautiful sky full of stars, and enjoy the amazing sunrise the following morning. It was pretty chilly when we were there, but the electric fireplace was a wonderful addition. The lovely little bistro table outside is a great place to enjoy a morning coffee, or a glass of wine or bourbon in the evening. I highly recommend, but pay attention when navigating our Kentucky country roads, as some of them are pretty narrow. We hope to visit again in the not too distant future.

My stay here was wonderful. The apartment is beautiful and so peaceful and serene. The bathroom is gorgeous, the bed was so comfy. Kathy was wonderful to speak to and I felt right at home. I would absolutely stay here again if I am ever back this way.

Everything was excellent for the night we stayed. My Mom wanted to "steal" the pillow she used as she thought is was the "best pillow ever". Everything was clean, there was plenty of stocked items like towels, bottled water, small snacks...it was also a short jaunt to the best restaurants in Versailles and only 10 minutes from Keeneland. My only complaint was the stairs, although people with decent knees that didn't walk all day taking photos will have no issue. I found them to be steep, but my 69yo Mom had no issue navigating them! Parking out back is fine and felt quite safe.

The beds are amazing, the room and whole building have been remodeled beautifully & tastefully decorated! We were in one of the rooms on the front of the hotel, there is street & traffic noise, so just know that. There is a sound machine in the room, that was helpful. The hosts communication with us was fantastic, I needed a late checkout & they said "no problem!" There are great restaurants close by and the downtown area is cute. Inside the building I rarely saw or heard other guests. There was a cute "on your honor" snack station! They really have thoughtfully done this place!

This stay was great for my friends and I. The stay was very peaceful, the owners are extremely polite and friendly individuals. The quality of this stay is very hard to beat!

Katie and Michael’s place was amazing my wife and I stayed here doing the bourbon trail . Matched the description and the cabin was beautiful and created a space to just relax and unwind . Would highly recommend!

Wonderful experience at Boone’s Cabin! Secluded setting in a great location for the Bourbon Festival. Cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Sheila was very proactive and even got us in early! Would definitely visit again.

Absolute stunning house. It was great with the group of 14 people we had. Everyone had plenty of space and lots to do. The hosts were very responsive. Would definitely like to come back again.

Super quiet Nice cows goats cats and chickens If you want to rest and be alone this is the place It's a drive from the lasts towns which was what I liked The cabin works well with the yard and it is comfortable And it was easy to use 😊

Beautiful location and private. Was a great getaway from the city and central to the bourbon trail. Loved the animals and dogs around. Beds could use some updating, but worked out well. Would come back to either listing they have.

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was secluded enough to feel like a retreat and close enough to go out and explore. The pond and porch are fantastic relaxing spots. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. We went on the bourbon trail and checked out Woodford Reserve, Castle & Key, Wild Turkey, Four Roses, and Buffalo Trace. We also enjoyed some of Tracy’s recommendations, such as, dining at The Glitz and Wildside Winery. Everything was amazing! At the end of the trip, I wasn’t ready to leave. I enjoyed one last bourbon on the porch and said goodbye to the beautiful slice of heaven that Tracy and Larry shared with us. I am already looking at the calendar to schedule another visit. Thank you Tracy and Larry, from all of us!

“If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine”…The Ripple Inn was an awesome cabin with a lot of the amenities of home. That comes in handy when traveling with a little one. Upon arrival check in was super easy, the place was clean, and the hot tub was ready for use. Cell service was spotty but wifi solved that problem. Gas and charcoal grills for outdoor cooking options. Great view pretty much surrounding the property. Host was responsive and very descriptive with directions, check in/out instructions, as well as with suggestions of things to do locally. “Reach out your hand, if your cup be empty” and fill it with some of the sweet nectar being made at one of the near by distilleries.
