This was an absolutely beautiful location. It was so nice to wake up to the beautiful views, to hang out by the campfire at night, and spend time in the hot tub. There’s lots of hiking and out door activities very close by too. It feels very peaceful and private, perfect for what we were looking for. Mark was a great host and everything was easy to access and use.

Stayed in this cozy cabin for a chill Bachelorette weekend! It was the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and relax. The views were phenomenal, especially from the hot tub, which was a big seller for us. As other reviews mentioned, it is very close to the Apple House, which we went to twice - once for breakfast and once for lunch. We also enjoyed getting pizza delivered from Anthony's Pizza. Its location was also perfect for visiting Chester Gap Winery and riding horses at Royal Horseshoe Farm. Finally, though a bit of a drive, we enjoyed the Bluegrass Bruch at Patty O's. We were a group of four and while on the smaller side, the cabin was just enough space for us and had everything we desired. Would definitely stay here again. Truly a great stay with communicative hosts!

The house was perfect tor our family retreat. There were 8 adults and two infants so we especially loved the spaciousness . The hot tub and as very much enjoyed, as was the two person sauna. There was a Pack ‘N Play for one infant to sleep in, and a high chair available so one couple had less packing to do. There was a kitchen was fully equipped; everything you needed for cooking and eating was there in ample supply. The big sign at the bottom of the driveway was a godsend for those arriving in the dark. Overall, it was a terrific setting for us, and we would go there again.

We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage set in a beautiful, remote location. The hot tub was fantastic and made for a very relaxing experience. Although we didn’t get to use the large pool as it was out of season, it looked very inviting and would be a great feature in warmer months. The cottage itself was quaint, well-equipped, and very comfortable, everything we needed for a peaceful getaway.

Cabin was clean and check-in was easy. Plenty of room, but was further away from the river than anticipated.

We really enjoyed staying at Culin’s cabin! It was a beautiful place, very clean, well-stocked, and was the picture of how great Airbnb can be. Close to Shenandoah, close to the Skyline caverns, and beautiful nature surrounding. Heard amazing birds and it was super quiet on the inside. Culin was friendly, helpful, responsive, gave good local recommendations, and was proactive about reaching out to us with information in the days leading up to the reservation. Would definitely stay here again!

We wanted somewhere to get away for the weekend and this was it . Very easy to find ..not as secluded as other cabins but very quiet and peaceful . The River sounds amazing at night and early morning . Hot tub was a plus after the nice long walk we had . Gillian was one of the most responsive hosts I have had ..

Our group of friends really enjoyed the house. It was just as described between the host and the reviews. Visiting in late March, we did deal with many stinkbugs, so just be aware of that. Julie was very communicative and everything went very smoothly. Loved the hot tub and the spacious family room to gather. We will definitely consider this house again for our next getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jaclyn’s cabin! Everything was as described- clean & homey. This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking at getting away from the busyness of the world. Very peaceful & remote. We will definitely be back!

This was such a fantastic stay - not only was the place gorgeous, beautiful with thoughtful nuances within, the management of it and how attentive Lexa, Kaja and the team were to manage it was phenomenal. Thank you so much, it was just perfect!

It was a wonderful place for our multi-generational family vacation! There was enough space where the kids could play loudly, but the adults could get quiet when needed. There was one minor issue and Matt and his team were super responsive and got the situation addressed quickly even though it was a holiday weekend.

We enjoyed our time at Yulia's. Very cute decor. Everything was there that a guest could want.

The Grape Escape was wonderful, and Jackie added so many personal touches and surprises for our arrival. There is so much to do in the area, even though we just mostly relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful cabin. It was so well appointed and we had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back. ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Gabriela's property! The home was clean and looked just as pictured. The riverfront access was wonderful. We were able to do quite a bit of fishing from the bamk and enjoyed having the canoe available for use as well. It was a very peaceful stay. Neighbors aren't too far away but it was very quiet, and there is still great privacy. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

We had a wonderful girls’ weekend at the house. We enjoyed the outdoor space and hot tub. The house was spacious and very clean. Thanks for a memorable weekend!

Phenomenal! This cabin is wonderful, whether you are a couple looking for a secluded getaway or want to get everyone together with places to gather both inside and outdoors. We did both:) We loved the open lot with great views and no nearby neighbors. The open layout allowed us to use the well equipped kitchen to make meals while sharing time with all of our friends! We enjoyed being under the expansive night sky as we gathered around the wood burning fire pit. There was also a gas fire pit allowing us to go out and stay warm even on a brisk morning to enjoy a cup of steaming coffee as the sun rose over the river. If you are looking for a cabin get-a-way to relax and yet still be close to the many great attractions in the area then you should consider this pet friendly retreat. You’ll appreciate that Grace is friendly and responds promptly. We had no issues at all with either the host or the property.

I want to spend all my weekends at this retreat. The house is very charming, comfortable, and clean. The view is spectacular. I spent most of my time reading and looking outside. The basement is really fun. Our teenager took it over as her apartment for the weekend. :)

I was here for several months and it felt like home. The host is very responsive, kind, and easy to work with. The house is as described but some descriptions in the listing need to be updated. 100% recommended!!!

Excellent accommodations! Gorgeous location, beautiful house, easy to get in/out of, and great communication from the host! I've never been to such a thoughtfully designed & curated Air BnB! The host thought of everything!! Fully functional kitchen, including oils & seasonings and full sets of dishes! There were even snacks and coffee pods for us! The office and den were really nice, too. So many books & games for us to check out! The art information in the office was kinda cool too. We also loved the bar in the den!! The binder with local information was really helpful. We liked reading the restaurant summaries/reviews, & selected our dinner place based on it. I saw in another review that they didn't have "bathroom essentials," but there was shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, as well as towel warmers!! So that was a nice perk. Would 100% stay here again. It was a little chilly so we didn't get to take advantage of all the outdoor seating!! We'll have to come back!!!

Very cool spot in the woods! Fire pit, sauna, and deck are top notch.

This was an amazing weekend getaway. The property was serene & private which made it a great place to unwind & reset. The covered hot tub pavilion allowed us to enjoy a nice soak despite the yucky weather we had. The house was cozy, charming, & so unique. We felt right at home! We did lose cell service but we kept busy with movies & ping pong. We were also able to catch the train going by which was such a fun treat. We can’t wait to come back with our little ones & watch them enjoy all Green Valley Junction has to offer!

The cabin was great and away from the hustle. The beds were comfy and clean and the river was a short walk down a private road. The outdoor firepit looked amazing and the inside fireplace was cozy. Although no fault of the hosts, if you are trying to get away from the sound of gunshots, this might not be the place. The neighbors were doing some rifle target practice starting at 9 am the day we were there. We definitely plan to stay again when it's warmer!

What a lovely stay we had at this cabin. The river is very nice at this location, and the deck right on the shore is perfect for lazing away the afternoon. We saw turkeys, squirrels, and a great blue heron. It was very buggy at that lower deck so bring strong bug spray. The recent river floods left a good 1” of silt on the lower lawn though, so that may have contributed to the mosquitoes. Otherwise a 5 star stay! Our dogs loved the deck connected to the fenced run also. Be aware that the gravel road is very visible to the run, our dogs felt like they owned the place right away and had to bark at the occasional vehicle…but you can just gate them up on the deck instead and then they can’t see cars that go by. Really nice that they built the gate into the deck stair. I loved how well appointed the kitchen was. We had everything dish/utensil we needed (bring your own foil and other wraps, none around) And there were plenty of TP and paper towels, despite older reviews, which was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Matt’s cabin! My husband and I used the kitchen table to play games all weekend. We also relaxed in the hot tub every evening. It was amazing to just sit in the quiet and relax for the weekend! We brought our dog with us and he loved all of the space to run! I would absolutely return!
