My experience with David was 10/10, he was very easy to communicate with and helped us out with anything we needed throughout the entire stay.

Such a lovely spot! Very large home with lots of room for groups or families to spread out. Plenty of games and outdoor activities to keep people entertained.

Songbird Retreat was the perfect Easter retreat for our family of five. Wonderful fun home in an idyllic setting. Something for everyone. Especially loved the stunning backyard with steps straight to the water, use of kayaks, many places to sit and relax. Richard could not have been more accommodating. Highly recommend!

Jenn and Bob were great hosts! The lake was absolutely perfect for my family and what we were looking for. We had never heard of Lake Gaston or been to this part of NC but we are big fans now and will definitely be back. The amenities were great! Littleton is such a cute little quiet town. There were a few good restaurants close by but we enjoyed cooking most meals! We will certainly be back.

Comfortable, clean house thoughtfully decorated. Well appointed kitchen. We stayed in September and neighborhood was very quiet. Great for morning walks.

We had a great time as a family of 6 (5 adults and 1 child), enjoying a Thanksgiving getaway on the lake. The house itself has tons of space, very comfortable, fast Wi-Fi, and matched the descriptions, but the real highlight was the amazing views of the lake and being able to walk down to the water and the dock. We also did some stargazing at night, and actually managed to spot the Milky Way on a particularly clear night, along with way more stars than you'd typically see just 70 miles from a major metro area like the triangle. Overall would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet lakefront getaway.

Beautiful, charming and maintained historic home with all its character. Conveniently located close to grocery and shopping. The room was comfortable and clean. Quiet and private. Lovely stay!

Been quite a few spots on Airnb. Catherine and Shawn are truly the best host I have experienced….and not even close. They enjoy sharing their slice of heaven to those who appreciate all it has to offer. Gorgeous property to get out and explore and take it all in .It’s a trip my son and I always look forward to.

Mickey's place was the perfect getaway for our anniversary. It was secluded, had an awesome lakeview, and had the most gracious hosts who have been married for 39 years! I am a public school teacher who teaches children with exceptional needs. I have been trying to get to the beach since Spring Break. My husband said, "Since you like to fish, have you looked for lakes?" So, I looked and found Mickey's spot. It was perfect! Two days before check-in, I fell at work and fractured my foot and possibly my knee. I bought vacation insurance and could have cancelled because it has stairs to the unit, but I was really looking forward to going. Mr. Mickey and his wife, Mrs. Ann, were very accommodating. They used their utility vehicle to take me down the path to the lake for a boat ride and to fish. Mr. Mickey even let me reel in a fish that was on his line so everyone caught a fish! I went back on the dock the next morning and caught one on my on line!😊 We look forward to our next trip back!

This place was wonderful for us. Lots of room and decorated really nice. It was quiet and easy access. Scott couldn't have been more accomodating. Instructions were clear. Things labeled so you were not confused. Guide book of area if needed. Even left a treat for our dog! If, we are in area in future, would stay again. Our stay was awesome. Linda & David Gober

My family and I were absolutely blown away with this beautiful inviting cabin. There really was no stone left unturned. We enjoyed our stay and all the amenities that were offered including the games for the teenagers being able to sit at the fire pit and kick back roasting s’more’s, Morning view sitting on the front porch and the nook with the rocking chairs was perfect. We felt like we were at home away from home. Anyone would enjoy staying here and be very pleased with the hospitality provided.

Loved the cozy, peaceful place this historic barn/ cabin is located. Will definitely be back next year.

My family and I love this place. This was our second time booking. The scenery and privacy is amazing. Perfect location for us to stay close to family who live in the area. We will 100% be visiting again. Harriette makes everything simple for check-in and check-out. Highly recommended. Get the real feel of peace and tranquility in a cozy cabin while only being minutes from town. You will not be disappointed.

This is a gorgeous home in a great area! It’s close to town and activities but yet in a private and peaceful location. I am absolutely humbled by the care Margo gave us, we came into town unexpectedly due to a death in the family, she went out of her way to get the house cleaned and ready by the time we got there. Her kindness will not be forgotten!

Our family is truly grateful to Ms Betty for allowing us to stay at her magnificent, secluded home. We were captivated by its beauty from the moment we arrived. After settling in, Jerry took us on a tour of the property, and his passion for the land shone through as he shared its history and pointed out various highlights. Our adventure began with a thrilling pond-hopping excursion to explore the stocked ponds on the property. To our delight, within the first hour, my wife caught an impressive 6.44-pound bass—a memory we’ll cherish forever! We fished until dark and later gathered around the cozy fire pit for s’mores. One of the trip’s most memorable moments was feeding the horses some carrots we picked up at the local grocery store. The cows were beautiful as well. Our entire family enjoyed every aspect of this delightful getaway. Once again, our sincere thanks to Ms Betty for her warm hospitality. We can’t wait to return to this peaceful haven in the future!"
