Perfect location for me and my friends to walk to the shops and bars/restaurants.

Leslie was the quintessential hostess. She met me upon arrival and ensured I felt welcome and safe. We agreed to meet for a glass of wine the next evening and we had delightful conversation. Her home is comfortable and eclectic and very warm and inviting. I will be sure to book with her again for my future visits to the St. Louis area.

The house was great. Perfect for our weekend getaway. We plan on staying her every time we come to visit Herman.

Staying at Shalom Acres was a last-minute decision and a quick overnight stay. Teresa responded right away and was very flexible with our check-in time. She gave us clear directions to the property and had everything ready for us. The room was clean, the bathroom was furnished nicely and there were clear instructions, so we never wondered what was expected. The property was easy to find, quiet and peaceful. Teresa was very pleasant to work with and we will stay here again if we're in the area.

My son and I called this place magical. From finding Turkey Tail mushrooms to being able to wash BBQ off my clothes, we left more content & peaceful than when we arrived!

The room was decorated super cute. Bed comfy and lots of towels. Nice coffee bar. The breakfast next store was top notch. The location was perfect for going to Augusta Wineries or Hermann for day trips. A very good value and I highly recommend.

Great spot in a historical building in downtown Marthasville. The Farmhouse space was very nicely outfitted and very clean.

Awesome place to stay right in the Katy trail. Even received a breakfast along with the stay. Great place to stay if visiting the local winery’s! I would definitely stay here again!!

We were served an amazing breakfast both mornings and it was perfect for what we were looking for. Feels like a hallmark movie bed and breakfast!

Peaceful stop on a cross country trip for work. We were able to park our 16 foot box truck across from the barn. Martha was proactive in giving directions to get inside, as we were arriving later than initially planned. She had breakfast in the refrigerator for us, and even accomadated my vegan coworker. We were unfortunately unable to meet her, but did meet her son, daughter in law and husband. They were great and her husband showed us around the farm, and we got to see the baby cows. They were the cutest. She also has a dog named Max who greeter me in the morning with a toy. The airbnb is very private and quiet. Would definitely recommend.

Mike and Chad were just as great as their bed and breakfast. Communication was clear, room and bathroom were awesome, and the breakfasts were AMAZING. We were just a few minutes walk from downtown Hermann. What a great weekend! Thanks guys!!!!! 😃😃😃

I reserved a two-night stay for my mother to have a personal retreat. She describes her time as peaceful and restorative! The breakfast was incredible and included homemade cheese that is made through the family dairy farm and heaping portions. The view of the meadow is beautiful and she went on a long countryside walk. Many creeks and hills! The B&B is a converted Barn and this is a working farm but this added to the experience! My mother describes how fun it was to get to see some of the farm. Martha and her family are extremely friendly and yet very respectful of personal space. The sheep room that was rented was very spacious with large lofted ceilings and a personal bathroom. What a special stay in a very special place! It was like walking into a Wendell Berry poem. Thank you Martha for creating such a lovely space and taking such good care of my mom on her personal getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at Old Vine Bed &Breakfast! Location was great, well within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Great hosts! Went above and beyond to make us feel welcome!

This is my 3rd trip to Hermann and by far my favorite accommodations. Amazing view of Hermann from our patio where we enjoyed a bottle of Stone Hill Norton. Beautiful house, beautiful room, amazing complimentary breakfast, wonderful hospitality.

First time for a farm stay. It exceeded expectations. The entire guesthouse was very inviting, clean, warm, and spacious. Our suite was very tastefully decorated. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Had a great view of the farm and livestock from our window. Ever so slight aroma of farm, nothing off-putting, just enough to remind you of your farm stay. My girlfriend could not smell it at all. As we were the last of the guests to awake, our shower could have been warmer. Martha is aware of this and in the process of figuring out a way to improve it. Best breakfast I've ever had at a stay, AirBnB, hotel, or otherwise. This is THE place to stay if you are planning a visit to anywhere in the general vicinity.
