On arrival we look forward to welcoming you with a breakfast pack which includes locally made muesli / granola, organic milk, free range eggs, a loaf of bread and spreads. Guest are able to let themselves in as the apartment has coded entry. Access and contact details will be provided prior to arrival. A short easy stroll to either the beautiful Milford or Castor Bay beaches. Dining or shopping is also nearby at the Milford shopping precinct. Located a 5 min walk to the estuary and a 5 min drive to Omaha and Matakana. Close by is Muriwai Beach with its gannet colony and surfing, also the magnificent Kaipara Harbour, Woodhill and Riverhead forests. Ideally situated for those travelling via the scenic Kaipara Coast and 40-60 min to AKL airport.

Situated behind the main home with its own private entrance off the garden is a wonderful and private one-bedroom studio fitted with modern quality furnishings throughout, including a kitchenette with a microwave, bar fridge, toaster and kettle. The room has under-floor insulation and air conditioning, and a Smart TV. Free unlimited broadband is also provided. The room can comfortably accommodate two adults and spare (portable) beds can be supplied for an infant (up to 3 years) and a child.

Braemar Cottage is a fully self-contained spacious unit in the lovely Snells Beach. It has a gorgeous ocean view over Kawau Bay. Snells Beach is about an hour's north of Auckland and perfect for a quiet relaxed getaway. There are plenty of things to do nearby from visiting charming country cafes and wineries, or shopping at the local farmer's markets, or even taking a day trip to explore Kawau Island. If you want to explore or relax closer to the cottage, the beach is only 500m away.

Our space is great for travelers who enjoy wineries, breweries, cafes, beaches, walks, cinema (boutique), Saturday markets, Goat Island and a variety of places to visit and explore within easy distance. Nearby is the ferry for a day at Kawau Island. The downstairs studio is private but we are close by and pleased to help and chat if you choose. Warkworth has large grocery stores and shopping but we have a great new grocery shop and a local pub within walking distance.
